Comet YU55 May Hit Earth in November This Year!

I wonder if the GLP telescope will be doing a live feed with regards to some of these objects!

shit loads of comets and asteroids this year. maybe all of them will hit one after another.

can you imagine if that was to happen - remember the surprise when the comet hit Jupiter a few years ago???

but it is a very dangerous one,
in maybe 120 Years it will be more bad
and a hitting of the Earth is possible!

Its an asteroids not a comet it will be a close miss but its the asteroids next pass afterwords that will be unpredictable if earths gravity changes YU55 orbit.

sure Search 2005 yu55 its closest point to earth is 0.002 au the moon is 0.0025 au

The margin of error is unpredictable in this pass. Interaction with Elenin and Debris can do some wild things.

I wonder what would happen if it hit the moon.

Nov 8th, 9th and 10th should be very interesting.

Poof and a hell of a show if its on the earth facing side of the moon for the GLP observatory.

August too November we have comet Honda (?) around aug 6th to 16th then there is Elenin a comet to defiantly keep an eye on from sept 25th threw too late October and of course YU55 when it comes by. Elenin will eclipse earth and its tail debris will hit our atmosphere hopefully only giving us an awesome meteor shower

Absolutely what is being echoed in a few places I have been hanging with a few people. The trajectory is just to unpredictable which is why nothing should be taken for granted with YU55 - even NASA are very sketchy!

Pinned is 2009d... yet YU55 is a massive asteroid, many times the size of the one pinned up there!
