Then whats that orange glow at the base of reactor 4 that it seems the smoke/steam is coming from.

Cause it looks like the glow from a flame to me

Oh you know things call lights?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1393757

The lights shining on the plant arn't orange -.-

And it's flickering, if it was the light that was shining on the building to light it up then the flicker would show on the building

The camera is picking up wavelengths of emr radiation that you can't see.

Experiment. Take you cell phone camera and activate it. Aim the remote control of your TV at the camera lens and activate the remote by pushing a button on it. Note that the camera has no problem imaging the infrared 'signal'.

There was smoke coming from reactor 3 earlier as well, but it slowed down and then stopped

Rane, thanks for this thread. This disaster is being studiously ignored by media and big gov/corp.

Please ignore the shills! If you get a lot of shills, it means you are totally on the right track!

If a reply starts out rude + swearing, don't read it. Skip it.

They don't deserve recognition if they are not going to be civil.

Webcam located 40 miles away? Really?
HAhahahaha!

Must be quite the zoom! HA!

This does not appear to be taken from a mountainside.
Where is the fabled camera situated?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1155273

Man, no one here thinks the cam is fake... that's not what the threads about either. Thinking the cam is fake is simply just retarded.
 Quoting: Rane

I think it is. Now you explain please the light source on the reactors only. There are people there around the clock that would have lights on the plant as a whole.

And why the quality of this video should differ from any other webcam?

It looks like one of their daytime photos of the prop has been scaled down and appears on a black screen to be "night'.

So the gray fog screen, that's "day" and this is night?
Has it ever rained since you have been watching?
Ever seen any activity at all except the bird soundtrack?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1155273

I have seen a lot of activity on the webcam. One afternoon a few days ago I saw loads of birds flying by. The camera sometimes gives us very clear images and sometimes very poor images.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1394581

Well it would be a piss poor video graphics animator that couldn't fake birds flying. Especially since there is no definition to the scenes at all. The bar is set quite low for you people who can look at those videos and not see they are fake.

I have seen them where the every line drawn to "animate" the video frames looked like the one's done for Dr.Katz cartoons.

And for the person who had the crytome photos. Just because they photoshopped in some blue clouds on some derelect buildings doesn't make them nuclear reactors.
A reactor does NOT have 4 inch thick walls. They are 37 inches thick solid poured concrete. There is no way you can look at a single on of those photos and see solid concrete walls that thick present. Hell, the top of what you think was #4 doesn't have ANY solid concrete walls but naked ironwork grid that stops in a perfect line above the 'other' part of the 'reactor'. So it had an explosion there to cause that huh? Blew the concrete right off eh?
And left the ironwork intact? I don't know what those are supposed to be photos of. But, it is not the reactors.
They told you they were though, so that's good enough for you.

The containments are that thick, not the actual roof and side paneling. The blasts at these reactors were large enough to damage these reinforced concrete buildings and break containment, that much is a given. I am sure all the locals that have been evacuated are really buying into your animation theory too. These images seem legit and although they may be following some pages of the BP script (ie changing frame rates, using filters and lighting to hide and obscure the facts), this is all real and happening. It is uncharted territory in dangerous waters and they would rather not have mass public panic.

Maybe steam from all the water they keep dumping on it. But for the record, hydrazine kind of sucks too.

About 130t of fresh water was sprayed over Unit 4 using a Concrete Pump Truck (62m class). (From 16:00 till 19:56 May 21) (About 0.4m3 of hydrazine was also injected from 16:23 till 19:00)

Because the oil and gas companies want them discredited. If you could hold them up as a safe alternative, then you might invite backlash when you decide to invade a country for their oil otherwise.

For my part, I think the idea of nuclear power is overkill just to make steam for heaven's sake. Especially when, the residuals are highly dangerous.

The point here nevertheless is that you are being mentally conditioned to fear nuclear alternatives, and last year this time, discouraged from drilling in the Gulf which had been ongoing for almost 40 years.

This is high-handed manipulations of the public because what is at stake are petrodollars. What do you think is at the heart of all this ME unrest, and war?

Stop looking at their fake videos and pay attention to what is going on in Libya and Pakistan instead. Pakistan is the next leg in the pipeline to the Persian Gulf.

Yes, I've seen it rain, fog, waves in the background, birds fly by, ships out in the sea when the destroyers were there, the fires that happened the first time, machinery moving around, helicopters flying over. I've seen loads there...

And this nuclear power plant was hit by an earthquake, massive explosion, multiple fires and is currently in the middle of a melt down. So stop comparing it to other plants with your flickr pics wondering why it dosn't look all pretty and perfect.

a bit offtopic but quite interesting:
The government has discovered thousands of cases of workers at nuclear power plants outside Fukushima Prefecture suffering from internal exposure to radiation after they visited the prefecture, the head of the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said. [...]

The revelation has prompted local municipalities in Fukushima to consider checking residents’ internal exposure to radiation.

Nobuaki Terasaka, head of the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency, told the House of Representatives Budget Committee on May 16 that there were a total of 4,956 cases of workers suffering from internal exposure to radiation at nuclear power plants in the country excluding the Fukushima No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant, and 4,766 of them involved workers originally from Fukushima who had visited the prefecture after the nuclear crisis. [...]

But as of May 16, only about 1,400 workers have gone through checkups — roughly 20 percent of the total number of workers. And only 40 of the workers have had their test results confirmed. [...]

Hiroaki Koide of Kyoto University: "No One Knows How Fukushima Could Be Wound Down" As the Corium May Be Melting Through the Foundation

So says Hiroaki Koide of Kyoto University Research Reactor Institute, in a telephone interview on May 19 with independent video-journalist Tetsuo Jinbo of Videonews.com (who did the video report of the 20-kilometer radius evacuation zone back in April, showing cows and dogs prowling the deserted towns).

Koide is practically agreeing with Christopher Busby that there's not much anyone can do to stop the release of radioactive materials and further contamination of air, soil and water, other than somehow "entomb" the reactors (a.k.a. Chernobyl solution).

Koide reiterates his view that the corium (he says "melted fuel" and "melted core" in the interview for lay people, but it is melted fuel, and anything else that melted with the fuel inside the RPV) may have already escaped the Containment Vessel in the Reactor 1.

I pasted some of two articles above in haste. I was in a hurry but sometimes skeptics need to listen to those who are there. Always ask the natives first. The articles quotes or paraphrases a Japanese.

Thanks again for keeping the info. alive OP.

Also - Happened to watch Superman III last night on a lark and wasn't I surprised. Richard Pryor plays the everyday guy(us) who occasionally compromises to keep eating; Superman - Earth and Earth woman loving alien; Rich guy - always been rich and world is his play toy, WEBSCO - his company that manipulates weather and disasters to move the market to his profit, manipulation of computer info., Rich guy makes alien the enemy.

It was unnerving.

Watch the live feed full screen for a few....

Re: -= Possible fire at Fukushima as large amounts of smoke come from Reactor 4 =-

What is the light source on the reactors only?
Show me another example of television footage shot from 40 miles away. I can't find any myself.

Waves in the background?
There is a seawall there and it is BEHIND the long turbine room which isn't even shown in the photo and you see waves?
None of the round liquid containers. The parking lot which is on a higher elevation. Nothing for 40 miles in between this "mountain" and the plant? You know, before the exclusion zone, there should have been something there.
It's Japan, one of the most closely developed places on Earth.

I will ask you again, Can you provide undeniable proof this (Fukushima) is all fake?
