I believe it is cumulative as well as internal emitting. Hence the more of this milk you consume the more your internal levels of cesium and the like rise. Which is vastly different than an external radiological exposure which is quite brief.

At first glance the exposure rates seem reasonably safe. But comparing exposure rates to a cross country flight is misleading. Internal exposure rates are exponentially more likely to cause cancer than the equivalent external exposure from such flights. While the study tries to calibrate for this,internal exposures rates are poor predictors for cancer and genetics change. Remember, external exposure is passing through you. while internal exposures require factoring so many more variables including remaining in your body for more than just a millisecond.

We got our non pasteurized milk tested for radiation particles and if it was harmful. The tests came back negative. I love in Vancouver, Canada.
