Are you trying to tell me that even black kids' mothers and (if present) fathers, as well as their school teachers, tell them they're going to amount to nothing? I do not believe it.

The only pervasive thing I can see that's telling these kids that they can't make it on their merits is affirmative action. It's obvious that many black success stories are the result of breaks available only to blacks and certain hispanics, in other words, they didn't accomplish as much as others to get there. Stop all this affirmative action nonsense, and then I would respect the accomplishments of all people, because all would have earned their way.

Can't help myself, so here goes.........

1. American Black people are mainly descendants of peoples who were taken from their homelands (mainly because their own people including tribal chiefs sold them or traded them) and enslaved for multiple generations over hundreds of years (just like other people in US that were enslaved through the centuries, like Irish and Scottish).

Whites who purchased slaves were the criminals not tribal chiefs.Whites were violent,cruel,dirty,pathetic people.Plus their religion focres them to have slaves.

2. Systematic indoctrination and "dumbing down" made certain that the future of the cultures and peoples taken would never again be of great intellectual or socioeconomic significance (School is too hard and you won't let us get a diploma with a 60 average so you better lower your standards. / Not to mention all of the free monies for higher education that are available to black youth for several decades now ..... Below average whites get into top universities (like george bush-yale)just because of money and connections.Universities prefer whites over blacks.

3. Institutionalized segregation from higher education opportunities and/or employment (again, see comments above )create incredible adversity for those of us who want so badly to change our predetermined poverty and perceived ignorance. (And yes, affirmative action helped but now reverse racism is just as bad)

This is not reverse racism.This is social adjustment.Whites should not always be centre of universe

4. Although there are many of us who have and will continue to make wonderful situations and opportunities of our lives, there are a vast many more who will never even know what it means to have conviction or determination, let alone even be able to spell the words> (Conviction and determination is a self driven human emotions, has nothing to do with lack of because of the need to find someone at fault for not having it)

When economic opportunities are denied,people lose their determination.The economy is controlled by whites for whites.Other races just get scraps.

5. American black people are due reparations no matter what has become of the completely beaten down group of peoples who were originally enslaved and stolen from their lands. (Uh, I think they died centuries ago along with the slave owners.)

I think,we should get a separate state in america,only for blacks.

and one final point.

6. Most of the people who make comments about the activities, decisions or actions of American Black people, commonly have no contact with black people or an educated and experience-driven opinion worth listening to.(Most of us have had plenty of contact, thus the reason for our statements).

Yes,your girlfriends and wives have contact with many of us but not you.

In closing,
I have no need to call names or point fingers, you who have made racist comments have done plenty of that. We are one race of beings and really need to start realizing that those of us who are systematically kept in certain socioeconomic and cultural positions deserve a little more understanding.(Translation, you all keep giving us everything we want and then some, so we won't call Jackson or Sharpton on yo ass).

Are you freakin' kidding me? A black with 600-600-600 SATs would probably get into an Ivy League college. A white or asian kid with 700-700-700 might not. The difference between those two scores is extremely vast.

Such things are not trivial in the business world. A man who speaks proper English sounds professional, and that reflects on the company itself.

I would not, for example, hire a lawyer whose grasp of English was so poor -- especially if English was his first (and only) language.

Slavery has been a world wide institution. The US is one of the first nations to outlaw it. As has been said by black men, the luckiest blacks are the ones who are the progeny of the enslaved blacks who were brought to America.

The blacks who are still in Africa are having a hell of a time. Ask the black Sudanese who have been a victim of slavery for over 500 years.

Go to Libera or the Ivory Coast or any of a number of countries in Africa and see how horrible it is there for blacks. In Liberia, the lighter skinned blacks who moved there from the US basically enslaved the Liberians.

Yeah but don't forget most of the discrimination laws are in favour of MINORITIES. Not to mention Affirmative Action for minorities. You can guarantee that whites will do a lot better as minorities and use these services a lot more productively than blacks have over the last 30 years.
