Yes I might be a sheep but with the way the world is going pick your doom. Elenin, solar flare like the one from the late 1800's, the dollar collapse, o-mans WWIII, and have any of your piece together the food shortage the world will see later this year (Russia not exporting food, china could loose 15 million acres, japans screwed the oceans, we flooded the farms along missippi, texas, oklahoma going to produce 1/3 the food and the places like michigan have flooding issues). ooops forgot the radiation now in our milk. Both the pro and con Elenin doom people seem to have just enough information to keep everybody looking at that location. We wouldn't be spotting Saturn either if everybody is pointing at Jupiter even though we can see them both. I wish I had more time so I could do even less. |

I have a small correction to make; it passed right by a small asteroid, not another comet. I just uploaded a new video showing exactly what Elenin would do to the inner solar system if it were a brown dwarf. Right now Venus, Earth, and Mars would all be dramatically perturbed out of their orbits. Indeed an earlier simulation I did showed that the perturbations due to such an object's effect just in the last few months alone would have perturbed Saturn's position by 3.8 arcminutes. I already know from astrometry I performed on Saturn a couple of nights ago that that is absolutely not happening. The kicker is that if Elenin were a brown dwarf, earth would be completely pulled out of its orbit and into a highly eccentric long period orbit sending it into the depths of the outer solar system and into a state of deep freeze from which no one could possibly hope to survive. It would be the guaranteed end of humanity. Here's the video showing what would happen. This dream terrified me so badly, as it was the first dream in years I can remember.. that I have started looking at space observation articles and found out about elenin being spotted on nasa, then saw that they pulled the info all the sudden, and now I come here and find there... and read this.. and well..... All very interesting .... I don't know what to think anymore but I am no longer a skeptic that something odd is happening... |
