Re: ** Question concerning the idea of "Twin Flames" **
I was thinking about the concept of our "Twin Flames" last night and I wanted to give you my understanding and then see if you could help me with some further insight. Ok, here's my understanding at this point.

I understand that our higher consciousness is a completely androgynous being. So, once we decided to experience this very dense physical duality, we had to split our consciousness into two separate souls, yin-yang, male-female. I believe that once we have completed this "education/game" in this dense physical reality, we then return to our "mate/partner" to become One again. We cannot experience this duality without this sacrifice. I was also given the thought that all of the other relationships we experience in this life are just "imitations" and experiences of what we really desire and that is to rejoin with our one and only true mate that most people haven't found yet. Many will not find their true mate until this 3d reality is complete and we return to the higher dimensions.

Now, a question for you all. There are conflicting ideas floating around that our Twin Flame is either experiencing this 3d reality as a human like we are. In other words, we are experiencing this reality as two separate beings, both on earth at this time. The other idea is that our "mate/partner" stays in the spiritual dimensions and assists us when we need help or when we ask for help. He/she becomes our guiding light or our guardian angel if you like. "As above, so below."

Please let me know what you think. Thanks for listening.

Peace

Ancient Greece

Aristophanes presented a story about soul-mates in The Symposium by Plato. It states that humans originally consisted of four arms, four legs, and a single head made of two faces, but Zeus feared their power and split them all in half, condemning them to spend their lives searching for the other half to complete them.

Theosophy

According to Theosophy, whose claims were modified by Edgar Cayce, God created androgynous souls—equally male and female. Later theories postulate that the souls split into separate genders, perhaps because they incurred karma while playing around on the Earth, or "separation from God." Over a number of reincarnations, each half seeks the other. When all karmic debt is purged, the two will fuse back together and return to the ultimate.

take everything you know and throw it out the window. then stare at the window. you will see the whole. because the window is literally frame of the moment, the view in which you see, as well as the eyes itself, and you are that window. literally everything in this universe in all aspects of all things no matter how you approach it see it understand it are literally the same thing just as individuals. each snowflake from the clouds is unique. but when it is on the ground or in the clouds it is still snow.

Re: ** Question concerning the idea of "Twin Flames" **
It's a good question you ask OP - i've wondered the same - if our 'twin' is physical or an etheral energy.

Maybe our guardian spirit/angel could be considered our twin flame?

It's certainly a search everyone tunes into - in different ways. (Alot look for love yet haven't reached the point of unconditional love and therefore have multiple partners with which they love, then don't)

It's often thought we dream of our twin also. Have your dreams been revealing OP?

When i started lucid dreaming i met a very striking person - who held my hand...crystal blue piercing eyes...he wasn't focused on me yet i asked (telepathically) if he knew he was holding my hand (afterall he was a stranger to me!) He turned to me, gave me a deep look, and his thoughts said to me ''Yes indeed, i know i am holding your hand''...
It was the most striking, vivid dream i have had to date.

Similarly you speak of maybe our twin living the same earth experience as us - despite never having met them. I wonder this too. I have been dreaming of a certain known person who actually does live a parallel life to my own. I can't explain fully here (it'll take too long!) but their current partner is 'me' in every way and my partner is 'them' in every way. The dreams are ongoing and we communicate deeply in my dreams. Like we already know oneanother.

I believe we can have many soul mates - yet only one 'twin flame'. Many folk confuse soul mate with just one person forever and ever...when infact, IMO, they're talking about their twin flame. Soul mates are hard to find also but not as difficult to search for as our twin flame.
When we become spiritually able to embrace such a 'rejoining' i think that person enters your life.

Maybe not tho' - maybe at death we find oneanother..?

It's intriguing isn't it?
:-)

Re: ** Question concerning the idea of "Twin Flames" **
Everyone today is talking about having met their Twin Flame. Been together two weeks
and they think this is their Twin Flame.

Rubbish!

I believe that VERY few people actually find their true Twin Flame. They meet someone
that feels so familiar. There looks or their smile or the way they laugh. It touches our
our soul to the "bone". This human then becomes a "substitute" Twin Flame. Later when
we feel something is not quite right we get upset and disillusioned. And in many cases we
don't even know why. Love in this reality is a very tough thing to deal with. It is a huge
part of the "education/trial" we face in this reality.

I can only hope it's NOT like this! she has to die at the end to be with him!

What's so bad about that? She doesn't really die, she just transitions to the afterlife, as we all will do, and joins him there.

Re: ** Question concerning the idea of "Twin Flames" **
I have looked into this concept before, & I have heard both accounts(about one 'twin' stays 'disincarnate', acting as a guide while the other takes the bold step of incarnating, & the Greek God concept of the Gods feeling threatened, thus cleaving souls into two.

I asked my former master about the concept of soul mates & he said it is a romanticised concept made up out of nothing; a bit like a Hallmark Holiday, to sell books, ect. He said at our core, we are all indeed soul mates, or more acurately, 'source' mates. After further inquiry(or badgering lol) about why we tend to 'find' people, he conceded that 'souls' have what we call in Australia, 'mates'(friends).

I had become interested in this concept after meeting what I thought to be my soul mate. When I first saw her at school, I heard a voice in my head that said; "thats her, don't let her get away". I answered back; "thats who? & what do I care where she goes?". that was in 1983, I last looked at her Facebook profile yesterday!

If we are soul mates, she doesn't care all that much!

You need a new master. Look to the only master there is, the One that resides within. All others are signposts at best...

Well, how do you view the concept of a twin flame then?

In reality it goes way beyond that, for we all are one- you, me, them, everyone is but a fractal of the whole. hf
