I must be wired differently - Why must one capitulate to authority?
When and at what point, and who gave the state or federal government authority over a given population?

Why must one recognize the authority of the state, and where is that authority derived?

Is the control mechanism not a voluntary one? I mean other than when it comes right down to force and bullying. Why would anyone in their right minds concede their own god given sovereign rights to the city, county, state, or federal government?

Dealing with the government is like dealing with a spouse. You always let them think you agree with them, then later you can go do your own thing.

Do we really all comply due to threat of force? Because it seems to me that is the only place they derive their power from is from the populaces fear that their rights will be violated if they do not abide? If that is the case a person is willingly accepting they have no rights but mere privileges granted at the behest of the state.

Because I repeated something I was directed to say as a 5 year old, I would be held to it today? I am sorry that makes little sense at all. I want to know what document I was coerced to sign if any which in some way obligated me to bow down?

The real fear the government pushes upon the people is false imprisonment. Seriously. Citizens are scared that the government will grab any infraction they can to embellish it into a goddamned federal felonious crime! Thereby taking all your rights away permanently.

The part the people don't ever think about is the simple fact that the Law enforcement, the prosecutor, and the judge are all government employees! Isn't that a conflict of interest against the citizens?

Look up the "Rules of Criminal Prosecution" and recognize that "Presentments" have been deemed "Obsolete". Eyes that see and ears that hear my friends.

And even that relies on an indoctrinated and ingrained since of patriotism. If one were to use as their defense the constitution it has already been noted that it does not in anyway apply to the individual but the state.

cavalier
If you describe a person or their behaviour as cavalier, you are criticizing them because you think that they do not consider other people's feelings or take account of the seriousness of a situation

How intuitive, it's probably got a bit to do with indoctrination that most are led to believe is education eg. When were you born, well that is a rather obscure question when you consider one is never born but has occasioned to visit the carcass they are in for a brief period to possibly either live a static or dynamic life. Why is it that so many cannot comprehend as simple and yet profound statement as if it is impossible to conceive eternity Macro Micro whatever.

I'm with you 100% OP. We are all born free. What right does some governing body have to say they partly own me? Surely I should get a choice? It's bullshit from the ground up.
Be aware of what you KNOW and what you BELIEVE. Don't ever let what you believe block the path of knowledge, for knowledge is truth. Belief is a temporary crutch at best, and crutches are for disabled people.
