Throwing out a Saturday morning topic.....
Why is it that it seems everyone these days is always someone else? It seems that there is an underlying motive or personality that always rears in the times when doors are finally being opened.
Are the days of the handshake deal really gone? If not, where are these people that mean what they say and say what they mean?
Trust, to humanities detriment, has become a multifaceted term that at one time meant something. Something that was attached to a length of time. These days, it's 'trust while convenient'. Don't hand out something whole, unless you are ready to get it back in jagged pieces, tied to mendacious reasoning.
"Let's make a deal", "I'll pay you back", "I mean what I say"
Why is this getting so bad? Quoting: GradientFor the older people living now it goes back to the Cold War programming, “hidden enemies,” government spies, industrial spies, etc. For the kids growing up with the internet it comes from “avatar” programming, faceless voices screaming obscenities at nobody in particular on the internet, for their cathartic fixes, because they can’t yell obscenities at their teachers, bosses, or anybody that holds financial powers over them. It will get worse with time, because when the financial grips are released through abject poverty for all, people will no longer give a fuck what they say to anybody. It’s like people going to Walmart with skidmarked underwear exposed, because they just don’t give a fuck. .
