QUESTION: If Texas Or Any Other State Were To Succeed From The Union Would You Move There And Why?
PROPOSITION: If Texas or any other state were to actually succeed from the union would you move there ASAP?

Yes or No?

There's no taking back what you never had.
 Quoting: SmartestOne

Well, at least there was a valiant attempt made!

With the exception of the horrific institution of slavery the Confederacy fought for one of the most noble purposes on earth.

I've had the honor of speaking personally with Ron Paul on several occasions. He hated slavery but LOVED the Confederacy and what they stood for because they stood for the Constitution!

ALL Americans of ALL races, born of honor and nobility should do everything within human means to halt this flagrant usurping of not only our beloved country but of the blatant enslavement of our own humanity!

Just as in those days of old are we now faced with an even more overwhelming and horrific threat as the federal government steals, infringes and confiscates virtually ALL of our Constitutional, state and individual freedoms

The concept of a democratic republic was truly revolutionary in as much that in the entire history of the world one had never been established NOT EVEN ONCE !!!

Our Founding Fathers were absolutely brilliant.
As I mentioned before the concept of a government which was run by it's citizens and was answerable to the public had never been implemented before anywhere or at any time on earth.

The original American ideal is miraculous. With the exception of the abhorrence of the institute of slavery the Confederate States of America (True heroes of this great country in my opinion) sought to fight for the continuance of what the Founding Fathers had initially intended.
The Civil War was NOT just about slavery but about every individual states Constitutional right to govern itself.

The courage, fortitude and sacrifice of those who took part in French Revolution comes in a close second in my opinion.

As long as the person understands the TRUE history of the Civil War when Dixie is played it should emote any true Americans who still love our Constitution heart with pride, honor and tears! (Even President Lincoln loved Dixie. It was his favorite song!)

DO NOT GIVE INTO SLAVERY!

Believe it or not America was, at one time, a truly great and noble nation.

I'm sorry for those who immediately feel that they must compartmentalize, categorize, label and separate those who's views they do not completely understand. These are the things that I believe serve no common purpose other than to divide us.

A true American is not necessarily a "birther", Republican, Democrat, Neo-Con, "liberal", "conservative" or any other label one may wish to ascribe to themselves or others. One side of the isle is no different than the other side.

I do not attempt to dare speak for others. However, for myself the definition of an American Patriot is one who harkens back to the fundamental ideologies of the Constitution and Founding Fathers of this once great nation .

Regardless of you political affiliation or party allegiance only a blind human being is unable to clearly see that these ideals have been stolen out from beneath us.

If it is not already too late all Americans of honorable and courageous stock should attempt to regain the inherent freedoms we once possessed.

(Here it is with the original lyrics of the Confederacy.)

If Texas seceded, it would be on the wrong side of the border fence, they must as well raise the Mexican flag over the state capital as soon as they vote to secede. So it depends which state, but definitly not Texas.

It depends....if they are doing it to become a true Republic again, then yes. Wouldn't matter where, but a State with ocean boarders would be the best.

Until this happens, we're only left with.....

So what are you saying...that if your first noble cause doesn't succeed just turn tail, give into tyranny and slavery?

All these people wishing for states to secede don't know what there asking for. Peaceful revolution is the answer.
Drop out of the system and stop supporting it if you want change. The damn globalists want a violent uprising anyway and secession plays right into their trap.

I doubt that Texas would secede alone. Legally it is the only state that can secede because it is a Republic therefore I see why you focused on Texas. Vermont for example has a very active secessionist movement but they want to be fuckin socialists like Canada.

I suspect if a state seceded and reformed a true constitutional republic that millions of Americans would flock there and the prosperity would be unimaginable.

Re: QUESTION: If Texas Or Any Other State Were To Succeed From The Union Would You Move There And Why?
Another History Rewrite Tard.

The Civil War was at it's core all about Slavery, virtually all of it's leaders said so when the War was beginning ... though after the South lost they suddenly for some reason changed their public statements.

If Texas was to succeed ... it would be Hispanic ruled within 20 years, probably 15 (for sure), ... and part of Mexico within 30 (imo).

Don't believe me? Take a look at the Demographics of the state, particularly the birth death models.

More Hispanic children have been born in Texas than Caucasion for every year since 1996 ... and the difference has been steadily growing
[link to www.dshs.state.tx.us]

In 2009 Hispanics made up 36.9% of the population, and Caucasions made up 46.7% of the population.
[link to www.google.com]

"...By 2020, the Texas Hispanic population is expected to outnumber the White population (Exhibit 8). Between 2000 and 2040 the Hispanic population will triple in Texas’ urban areas, from 5.9 million to 17.2 million. In rural areas, the Hispanic population is expected to double, from 777,000 to 1.6 million...."

You are ABSOLUTELY WRONG sir !!!!

It would take nothing less than volumes to show you definitively that the Civil War was PRIMARILY about the Constitutional rights of individual sovereign states. Slavery became an economic byproduct to the war. Lincoln was NOT an abolitionist and stated full well that he would "not free a single slave" if it would save the union. And he also stated that he would "free the slaves" (although not in the north or border states) if he believed it would save the union.

Confederates offered to free their slaves if they would serve in the Confederate Army. Jefferson Davis made it quite clear that "This war is about states rights to govern their own destiny, not about slavery."

However, even if you presume yourself to be correct in 1860 what does that have to do with fighting off the slavery, tyranny, and villainy that is perpetrated on the American people by it's caring, benevolent government today in 2011? Unless, of course, you believe that I am again rewriting history and am wholly misguided.

Am I to suppose that according to you we are a free society, a free people where politicians are working hard for your good, policemen are your friends and the government is here to "help you". After all they're the "good guys"...right?

But I suppose that you also believe the Warren Commission.

The Commission Report on 9/11.

And that the fruit in the Garden was an apple.
