My plants are turning white, this has never hapend bafore. Anyone else notice somthing?

Well that's good. I'm in the midwestm we are getting it worse here.

It wasn't too long ago that it rainded a yellow goop, my cars were completly doused in the stuff. whateber it was killed off the skeeters pretty well.

I think it may be from the hot sun. My moms dogwood tree that she adored burnt to a crisp in just a couple of days...

I've got mini pines in my front yard, they are pretty wisened. Also my evergreen is not so green.

FL and my plants just uprooted and left without warning. When I asked the neighbors tomatoes, they told me that my plants were pissed about the flouride and chlorine in the water I was feeding them, some shit about pine cone glands or something (I never trust tomatoes). Try collecting rain water and feed the thirsty buggers something healthy!

Bummer.... Guess it's just a matter of time & we'll be watching tumble weeds blow by.

my petunias were getting white spots on them. thought it could be sunburn so i put them in partial shade, no more white spots. also had to put my potted orange tree in partial shade, white spots. the sun is way too bright, never had this problem before.

yes i've noticed something funky with my plants, dieing quickly when taken care of.....strange

Should of spoke to them a lil more.... If they knew lithium was on its way, they probably would of hung around!

Op, I am having the same thing happen here! All of a sudden a good percentage of various types of my veggie crop had some of their leaves turn white!
I first noticed it happening about 2 weeks ago. The plants have not died and new growth seems fine. Also noticed it on a few different plants on our property.

It happened suddenly and has not spread or happened again. Location: west central ohio

white?or pale to faded color?if there is to much light"which is hard to do for outdoor plants"it can bleach the plants,causing them to turn a very pale to faded color.this does give off a "white" look to them.what kind of plants are they?and are u sure it's the plants?maybe powdery mold/mildew?

a sudden burst of rays "light can cause this maybe if it got to intense"as far as what they uptake i don't think so if it was chemtrails.."made up of alot of aluminum" that would make the ground to toxic.but u have to remember plants only uptake what they need.just like u or i..so all that would do is make it to where the plants could'nt eat.that could cause the plant to not be able to uptake certain nutes.but turning white does'nt go in line with that..if that was the case you would see the plant burn and or turn a bright pale lime green.where the burning would come in is if they were scorched or there ph was way off.."which can be caused by not having all nute as needed".what happens is the plant has say plenty of n and not enough k.this would cause ph to rise or lower.....

If you are in Mauston, it is likely due to Cesium-134 contamination or agriculture run-off into the water-table.

You appear to be living on sandstone and the bedrock is some 50 to 100 feet below ground. Without further data, I would conclude it is ground-water agriculture runoff polluting the water table...

If the water table is falling relatively quickly in your area, you may be in a fault zone.

Again, if water-table levels of water are falling rapidly, I would suggest you consult with others about geological risks in the region. Your neighbor's yard turning brown may be due to water-table falling. I would follow up on this if I were you.

I am having a terrible time with my entire garden. Drip irrigated twice daily, same as last year. So far only my cucumbers have survived. Everything is drying out. Almost scorching.

White can be from mold - if it is a white powdery substance ON the plants.

If the plants are dying, either too much or not enough water.
