New State Law Makes Posting Distressing Images a Crime
Another way to control us and prevent us from posting police brutality:

Tennessee residents: Come July 1, 2011, the state may punish you with jail time or fines should you “transmit or display an image” online — social networks such as Facebook and Twitter included — that has the possibility to “frighten, intimidate or cause emotional distress” to anyone who sees it.

Almost subject to any interpretation - what is "distressing" - is a solar flare "distressing". They are legislating us in to submission.

If you live in Tennessee, could you go to jail for posting this?

What if I find our deficit distressing, can I sue the government for offending me?

This is alllll about defending dirty thug cops IMO.

I'm a person, and I find pictures of cops beating the crap out of innocent people distressing.

Can I press charges against a Tennessee TV station if they show a picture of someone the cops shot or beat the crap out of?
