Many Have Seen Moving Star Like Objects moving In The Night Sky - Some That also get very Bright?

IV SEEN THIS ISWEL. its not even a seconds worth of visual but u see it. that orange stream and a disapearing object, not a star a proper object V-Shaped maybe, like this <. its like its there but just the colour of the night sky so its invisible. but if u trace its possible path, you feel the sky moving

I know this thread is from a few years ago, but I just found it in my search for 'moving stars'. I know exactly what the OP is talking about as I have seen these 'lights' (I call them 'lights' because 1. yes obviously they are a form of 'light', but 2. because they aren't stars, satellites, 'spaceships', etc) about 6 or 7 times now.

I do not agree with the post previous to my though stating you only see the 'lights'/moving stars for a seconds - or not even. I have seen them probably on average for a minute each time, except for the 3rd time where I witnessed the light for approximately 5 minutes.

They are not high in the sky like a satellite is. I have seen those many times throughout my life. They steadily move in straight paths, sometimes with blinking lights, sometimes a solid light, but they are always clearly satellites. These moving lights have the perception they are far off in space at first, but as you watch it begin to brighten it suddenly looks and feels like it merely at a low cloud height. Then after a few moments it looks as though it once again returns to the depths of space traveling until it can be seen no more.

The first time I was amazed, and felt like I had truly witnessed some dive part of nature. Never once have I had the feeling I was watching a UFO, satellite, or rather anything that could be man/alien made. It was light, it's always just light. I would search the sky after that wishing to see it again, but I never saw anything, and a few months passed. Then one random night there it was again, and in the same spot of the sky (off in the west). My apt at the time was on the 19th floor facing due west. It appeared out of nowhere, almost as if coming out of some other stationary star. however I have never seen it 'appear' out of nowhere as it's already visible whenever my searching eyes spot it. It's weird, almost like it comes into existence because my eyes are looking for it. Like someone has mentioned, you 'know' the nights your going to see it. There is just some unexplained feeling of knowing when your going to see it.

Each times the lights would fly from the west towards my building, getting bigger and brighter it nears, but slowing down as it got closer to me. Now I haven't notice anyone mentioning, unless I missed it, that the lights slow down as they get close. They usually stop ditectly above me as if looking down as it pulses. For me this is extremely weird as most of my beliefs lead towards 'scientific' rather then 'dogmatic', but these are just unexplainable in current reasoning. A 'satellite', 'a secret plane', blah, blah. Its light, and they way it moves it's like it's alive.

Anyways one more; the 3rd time I was out of town visiting my parents. They live out in the country, and on clear nights you can see a bazillion stars. Anyhow I had told my older sister about the 2 sighting, but I could tell she thought I was half cracked. I kept it to myself after that because I knew what I saw would be pretty hard to explain, and harder to convince. So it was night, I had just let my moms dog out. I went onto the deck, and then THERE it was and as usual it was so beautiful this light, whatever it was. I yelled to my mom 'GET OUT HERE NOW!' COME AND SEE!!'. My mom knew about 'my sightings' and was 'oh God'.

So she came out saying 'What' in an annoyed voice, and I pointed it out and said 'Look!'. For the next 5 mins we silently watched the ball of light slowly come towards us as it got brighter, and slowly bigger. Now I said the first 2 times it stopped overheard. Well they didn't entirely 'stop', but rather slowed down so mugh to an almost stopped position, but still moving extremely slow above, then past me before they spead back up, and then faded off into the distance. This time it literally stopped overhead, and it was noway near high enough to be a 'satellite'. It stayed for about a minute where it was, when slowly kept moving forward until it just faded out of distance. I was like 'I TOLD YOU!' lol.

My mom likes to say 'oh it was a plane' when I bring it up today, but then I remind her that she knows damn well it wasn't a plane, to which she then confirms she has no idea what it was. She doesn't really like talking about it I get the feeling which I think is because she really can't explain it other then confirming it was a 'light'.

Anyways I typed enough. I just wanted to put it my account.

Hi Mike, I was chattin with a neighbour puttin the bins out when I noticed a sattelite overhead, quite bright.

WE all looked up and I said something stupid, then it flashed really bright and two sattelites continued, one in the same vector, the other off at about 5 degrees.

The new one, we watched until it could no longer be seen, the original, went dark quickly.

Was pretty cool.

Was on a 40 mile backpacking trip in the north Cascades, Glacier Peak Wilderness. Ended up making camp in the side of a mountain the second night because I lost the trail in all the snow and it got dark. I was a little paranoid about animals and I was sleeping in a hammock, it was a clear clear clear night so I didn't put up the rainfly. I had a clear view of the sky all night. The moving star caught my eye after about 20 minutes as I thought it might be a bear or something. It wasn't. It stayed there for hours. It appeared to be to my west/nw. I also saw shooting stars streak just to the east of the object that was moving, my thought was that it was moving around avoiding getting hit or something. It makes no sense what that was. There were no other stars moving around, only this one. Also it was extremely bright, and seemed to have more of an oval shape. (it was a very small detail and it could of just been my eyes being tired)

I don't think there was any geothermal activity where I was, and I could see it sooooo clearly as I was 6000ft up on a mountain. If I had to guess the object seemed very close, and was hovering above the city of Everett; which has the largest Boeing plant in the world.

Oh, and it was not a satellite. I saw many of these move across the sky. It was way brighter then a satellite, and the object was stationary, well relatively stationary given all the movement.

Thread: Pointing a Laser, Then seeing a UFO

shining in my eyes and i see objects....star like dropping and they appear to be chasing each other and all of a sudden theres just like a light streak of light that streaks. Im also seeing almost like a small round shadow moving very quickly across the sky and then it always ends up falling straight down. Almost anywhere you look in the sky at night you can see this. These things are up really high in the sky.

I can totally relate to this, I was seeing things at night in my garden all the time over the past 6 months. It was almost as if they would appear minutes after I stepped outside and gazed at the stars. At first I presumed they were lanterns but then the other night I seen it move across the entirety of the sky going in an easterly direction, moments later it traveled backwards same motion and speed heading west across the night sky. This made me think how could these lanterns be wind assisted? Not just that tho, the way these things move and how high they are and the speeds the reach just makes me think that these lights are something else entirely. Its now 3 days in a row, I try not to be afraid but sometimes I am spooked. What can they be?

09-28-14 Just about sunset, My wife and I stepped out side to go for dinner, I looked at the half moon than also notice airplanes chem trails, Looked over to the west sky and notice a plane moving from west to east with no chem trails, so Just as I am thinking why is that plane don't have any trail, I notice an object like star moving from north to south near the airplane fly path, so I fallow it and the brightness started to dim, than bright again, it did a full stop and moving again and it did a sharp u
turn!
I'm thinking it is a drone, as it made moves the sun light reflected off and on. When it did stop and u turn it was probably turning just parallel to my eye sight and fully u turn than it disappear.
