The problem I have is most of the parts I read, in three of the widely accepted translations and no I dont have to get your OK to offended by it, ANYONE can get an objective specific view, got to thereligionofpeace dot com and you will get thousands of examples of the koran and hadith and the behaviour it claims is holy.
There is no way a serial deceiver murderer sexual child defiler and all round selfcentered megalomaniac can represent anything but of the same nature. If holyness is exemplified and exhaulted in the pointless horror and waste and suffering of innocents in combat I'd seek another definition.

All that big moe did was rewrite the functional portions of the old testament, keeping in the entitlement and punishment parts, changing the eligability requirements into a pseudohereditary one and discarding all the rest but claiming that the original OT was somehow still valid until he superceded it with his koran.
People should know that ol'moe tried to claim to be the political and religious king of the jews and they told him to get bent, and finding that the original more gentle approach had failed, the subsequent ramblings and proclamations were about absolute destruction of the jews for this percieved slight. This of course is not in the koran itself but is in the hadiths, the 'historical' companion volume of ol moe's life and loves
