well YOU PLEASE LEARN that CMES are not flares and do not use the terms abcmx as to size. C flares are x ray flares, arrive in minutes, and if they do show up as ABCMX flares they were obviously earth facing and done with already. Some of us teach and teach and teach.......... and it doesn't sit. flares rated abcmx are NOT CMES, although a sunspot may flare and also disgorge a CME.

It's been a mess for a couple of months, but it was getting back to normal, now the pressure is up again and the magnetosphere is pretty much fucked. I guess a couple of good days in a row is all we can expect now.
