Is Gold In Fort Knox Real? Ron Paul Wants to Know

And Archimedes, an ancient Greek, knew how to tell if a sample of metal was all gold or if it had been adulterated, but Ron Paul is apparently ignorant of such wisdom.

That doesn't make any sense he wants to check it without doing that none of us know for sure.

I remember a few years back, maybe longer (I'm old), when they let the press in. The gold was all there!!

But was it real? Some gold has been sold recently that wasn't.

Certain countries started to demand part of their payment in gold, and the US gov was unable to do so, having long since embezzled and sold off all the gold in Fort Knox for private profit. (No auditioning of the gold has been allowed since the 50s. Gee, I wonder why!)

Then Fort Knox is either empty after the Fed took it as collateral on the debt, or it didn't; it's the same as gone if it's fake. Where is the gold that was stored under the WTC?

We know for sure that the gold was STOLEN from us...it's gone! Fort Knox is guarded, but by men with wooden guns. Are they guarding an empty shack, fake gold? Probably so.

Just because there was Gold in there years ago means nothing it might not be there now and if it is, is it real? That Gold belongs to the people we have a right in fact a duty to see if it is there and if it is real.

LadyLeo, Ron Paul isn't so much calling for an audit of Fort Knox as he the Federal Reserve. He KNOWS the gold is gone. He and we should know where it went, when it went, to whom, and what for. Let's look at the books...both sets.

So you think the Gold that is in there is fake then? CNBC says they saw it in 1974 and that was the last time anyone has seen it but even if they saw it they didn't test it.

It is most likely fake, FDR minted 22k bars after the gold confiscation and those bars were placed at the bottom of the stack. Some of those bars showed up about 2 years ago from a foreign investor who was long and wanted delivery of a contract with JPM, I think the sum was around $20 million or so. When the bars were delivered they were found to be 22k, so JPM was naked short and got someone, most likely the fed or treasury to cover their short position with the bars FDR had minted.

It's most likely all gone.
