I have seen a few large condors near my area
( pine mountain club )
they are massive
wonder if it could have been a condor ?




Thunderbird might exist but would be very rare

Fresno's solidly in California Condor territory, and exceptional adults can have wingspans of ten feet. Highly likely that's what it was.

They are called Vultures! And they usually hover around dead carcasses. In this case it is a state.

I'm gonna take a wild stab in the dark and say it was a large bird.

Amazing story. I was really amazed to see the end of the story though; about the 3 boys and the two large birds.

Back at that same time, I saw two large birds heading east from Kansas. Those birds were much larger than birds with 10 foot wing spans. They were much closer to a small airplane in size. I've told the story before and written about it before.

I was on the roof of the house checking out the roof repair job that was recently done. While I was on the roof, a huge bird shadow engulfed the roof of the house, so I looked up. I saw a huge bird looking down at me, and it was circling me. I got down off the roof quickly and hid under the back porch eve. That bird and another bird the same size then flew to the east. They made the osage orange hedge row tree at the half mile line look narrow as they flew over it. Those birds were huge, and they had been looking at me like I was lunch.
