Two words.
Vestigial organs.
Appendix.
Obviously some things have changed. Nothing wrong with teaching the ability of animals to adapt to changing environments over generations.
Does that mean we evolved from amoebas or monkeys? I don't think so. I think man has evolved from man from creation and that changing environments gave rise to vestigial organs.
But would it change my belief in the Bible or God to find out that we did evolve from monkeys or amoebas? No, because I have seen evidence of just how inspiration works.
Quoting: Tyranny of Evil MenScientists admit today the appendix is used for digestion. Just shows what you and them knows. There are no vestigial organs. [ link to missinguniversemuseum.com] Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1422826"Still has some functions" is not the same as "vestigial." The vermiform appendix that we share with many other mammals, in those other species is a robust developed organ. In us it has been reduced, no longer used for its primary function. Although it appears it may function as a repository for intestinal flora, making it easier to re-populate after certain diseases, this was never the primary function. Plenty of animals achieve the same result through coprophagia, for instance.
