They don't refuse to go near the other Reactors,
Nr. 1 has a Cover installed by People
Nr. 3 had a big Cleaning and removing of the SFP-Fuel by Workers
Nr. 4 had a permanent and ongoing Mission
and concerned People can watch the working Units/ Humans always!

All visible in countless Videos!

yer fucking joking right?

1. people cannot get near number 1 and 3.... there have been no humans allowed near the 'dead zones'
 Quoting: citizenperth

What you will do when i show you People around and in that Reactor,
why do you exclude Reactor Nr. 4 suddenly?

Because you get cold Foots?

Lethal radiation detected inside Fukushima reactor
Tokyo Electric Power Company has detected extremely high levels of radiation inside one of the crippled reactors of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.

TEPCO was able to place monitoring equipment directly inside the reactor for the first time since last year's accident.

A dosimeter lowered into the containment vessel of the No.2 reactor registered 72.9 sieverts, or 72,900 millisieverts per hour at maximum -- a level where a human is certain to die within about 7 minutes of exposure. [link to www3.nhk.or.jp]

Fishing ban due to radioactive contamination
Radioactive contamination from the Fukushima nuclear accident is forcing fishermen in a neighboring prefecture to suspend catches of one of their fish.

Catches of Japanese sea bass are the first marine products of Miyagi Prefecture, north of Fukushima, to be suspended due to the nuclear accident.

Up to 360 becquerels of radioactive cesium were detected in sea bass hauls over the past 2 months off the coast of Miyagi.

Authorities in a northern city of Chiba prefecture on Tuesday sampled bamboo shoots grown for food. They found contamination of up to 250 becquerels of radioactive cesium per kilogram. 180 becquerels of cesium was found in the bamboo shoots harvested in another northern city in the prefecture. Both locations are some 200 kilometers from the crippled nuclear plant.

Our Unit 2 Rough Estimation Of Radiation Levels In Containment

March 28th, 2012 | Add a Comment
[Translate]

These estimations are very rough calculations. They give an idea about how high the radiation in the pedestal below the reactor could be. These numbers are very rough and not normally something we post on the website. They are worth sharing to give people an idea how incredibly high the radiation inside containment is.

Snip

Our very rough guess is the radiation in the pedestal could be: the corium in the pedestal an estimated 5 GSv/hr.
Enough to cook a hot dog in .0000001 nano seconds.

**Peter ran some additional calculations and came up with the following:
Rad levels in unit 2, kilo (10exp3), mega (10exp6 equals a million), GIGA (10exp9) and tera (10exp12).
“I myself figured 10 teraSv/h based on 30 half-thicknesses and the inverse square law for a point source. Note that most increase in this estimate stems from the assumption that the source is behind the concrete and does not include the possibility of fuel having escaped into the drywell.”

Taking both rough calculations we have somewhere between 5 gigaSv/h to 10 teraSv/h in the pedestal region of unit 2.

For some comparison at Chernobyl, the control room after the explosion was 300 Sv/hr – providing a lethal dose in 1-2 minutes. At 22 years later, levels inside the reactor hall were approximately 34 Sv/hr – a lethal dose in 10-20 minutes.

Fish within 20 km of Fukushima plant to be studied
The operator of the disabled Fukushima nuclear power plant plans to begin monitoring radiation off the coast of the no-entry zone by collecting samples of marine life.

The announcement by Tokyo Electric Power Company on Wednesday is in response to requests by fishing cooperatives and researchers who have been calling for full-fledged studies into the impact of radioactive contamination on marine life in the area.

they can serve our Society at least a little bit
instead of living a Maggot Life for the rest of their existence!

The Levels in there are much higher than they showed you,
we think it must be far above 125 Sievert/h

At One Meter under the Hole for the Endoscope the Level was 39 Sievert/h,
a few Centimeter more and it increase already to 54 Sievert/h
and again 84 Centimeter more to ca. 74 Sievert/h
but they are still Miles (ca. 3m.) away from the molten Core!

TEPCO seeks additional public money injection
The operator of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant has asked for more public funds from a government-backed entity to avoid negative net worth and to compensate the victims of the nuclear crisis at the facility.

Tokyo Electric Power Company, or TEPCO, on Thursday asked the entity set up to help compensate the victims for one trillion yen, or over 12 billion dollars, for capital reinforcement. The utility also requested about 10 billion dollars to bolster its reserves for compensation.

Japan's nuclear policy review proceeds
Japan's Atomic Energy Commission has proposed 3 ways to dispose of spent nuclear fuel from the country's nuclear plants.

The commission has been reviewing Japan's nuclear energy policy in the wake of last year's accident at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.

The first of 3 proposals made by a commission working group on Wednesday calls for proceeding with the current project of reprocessing plutonium from spent nuclear fuel into uranium-plutonium mixed oxide, or MOX, fuel. The fuel could be used for a fast-breeder nuclear reactor once it's in practical use.

Newly-developed cameras can "show" radiation

Japanese researchers have developed a super-wide angle digital camera capable of depicting radiation in the environment.

The camera, developed by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, is an application of a technology used in gamma ray detectors aboard a space probe.

A gamma-ray detector installed in the camera shows levels of radiation on buildings and the landscape in six colors according to radiation intensity.

Hard search for TEPCO's top management
The operator of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant has postponed the announcement of a firm's turnaround plan due to difficulty of finding its new management.

Tokyo Electric Power Company and a government arm, the nuclear compensation fund, were to release the plan by the end of March.

But Kazuhiko Shimokobe, the chair of the fund's board, said on Thursday they deferred the schedule as the economy minister is not likely to approve the plan unless the new management members are named in the plan.
