Multilingual UN website opened on A-bombings
The United Nations has published a series of stories about atomic-bomb survivors living in the Americas with multilingual subtitles.

The on-line project was organized after UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called for preserving A-Bomb survivors' testimonies for younger generations. He made the call in 2010 when he became the first UN secretary general to visit Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

A resident of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Kaoru Ito, says on the website that only those who saw the devastation after the bombings can really understand how evil atomic weapons are. [link to www3.nhk.or.jp]
