Hitachi set to win bid to buy Horizon Nuclear in Britain: sourcesHitachi Ltd. is set to win a tender to buy Horizon Nuclear Power, which plans to build nuclear power plants in Britain, sources close to the matter said Saturday. Hitachi and Horizon, a joint venture set up in 2009 in Britain by two German power companies, are close to concluding the deal which could be worth more than 50 billion yen, they said.
