Quoting: Waterbug Why should we believe any information provided by any of them..? Because you are just a Slave of our System, eat it or/and die, your Class are the Gamma-People! Ps; when you use the orginal Source you can minimize the wrong interpretations by the Pseudo-Scientific-Blog-O-Sphere, but i know that this is not the wanted by Gamma-People because they need something to satisfy their cheap instincts! The most talented journalist in Asia can do little with information provided by an admitted liar. My point is valid and stands on its own merit. You are grasping for straws. i don't want to use Information filtered by People who do not even understand the basics of responsible Journalism, you can use Enenews and Fuku-Diary because you are, in a way, Pseudo-Radical! You like to discuss nuclear Energy while your Ass sits in a warm Home and in front of a Com. There are People who are much more active than u. And there is a huge difference between ranting and true Resistance! Deflect much..? You can criticize enenews and fuku-diary all you want... doesn't change the fact that.. TEPCO, IT'S LEADERS, THE JAP .GOV, AND THE NUCLEAR ENGINEERS... FUCKED UP ROYALLY... and then tried to lie their way out of it.. My ass sits on the couch while I spend countless hours, uncompensated, searching out, reading and posting the information that makes you look like a fool, among other things. And you HATE IT THAT I'M RIGHT... I have spent my time in the picket lines... benefit concerts, etc. I have been against nuclear tech since '68 when I first read Einstein... 44 YEARS OF SPEAKING OUT AGAINST NUCLEAR.. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, MR. CRITIC..? Eat shit, dickhead. |

Nuclear Regulation Authority official Kunihiko Shimazaki and 4 experts concluded their 2-day inspection at the Higashidori plant in Aomori Prefecture on Friday. They scraped and washed the ground surface to see how far 2 faults in the compound extend. Plant operator Tohoku Electric Power Company has argued that the shift in the strata was formed after soil in the ground absorbed water, and that it was not the result of seismic activity. The experts say they cannot deny the possibility that the 2 faults are active, and that they can reach a conclusion without additional surveys. [link to www3.nhk.or.jp] . |

Nuclear Regulation Authority experts advise the public to immediately take shelter when radiation levels reach 500 microsieverts per hour. That's half of the International Atomic Energy Agency guideline of 1,000 microsieverts per hour. One day after the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident last year, radiation of 500 microsieverts per hour was measured at a distance of 6 kilometers. [link to www3.nhk.or.jp] . |

Quoting: Waterbug [link to www.powergenworldwide.com] It has to be stored somewhere, storage pools on site are not for long term. Billions of dollars have been spent and still no solution. It would be nice if they said no renewed licensing and no new fuel can be used until the spent fuel issue is resolved. How about a "fee" levied for each new fuel rod for long term storage? Nuclear power would become far more expensive if they factored this in. I really don't like the idea of pushing it off for our future generations to deal with. The operator, Tokyo Electric Power Co, said it accepted the findings of a parliamentary inquiry into the Fukushima nuclear disaster that accused the company of “collusion” with industry regulators..... TEPCO President Naomi Hirose said several months ago he was baffled by criticism of the company, which until recently has denied it could have foreseen the scale the tsunami and earthquake that knocked out cooling and power at the plant, despite warnings from scientists. The once well-respected utility, now under government control, has been widely castigated for its failure to prepare for the disaster, and lampooned for its inept response as the crisis unfolded. .
