Hey Bug, I'm going way, way, way, off topic here ~ but I need some parenting advice. I came home from work tonight and smelled weed in my house. I realize this is not unusual in Oregon, or for teens, but damn! Advice on how to proceed? I'm not saying you are old, just more experienced than I am. If any others have good info, let me know. Haha... yeah... I'm old. I might not be the best one to give advice on pot, 'tho..
I've been known to take a puff now and then for my aches and pains....
As far as the kids go... I'd rather them be honest about what they are doing..
Rather them be toking a little than drinking and getting crazy..
Drinking kills a lot of kids.. before they figure it out.
Sometimes you don't get a second chance.
Depends on the individual, too. Some people shouldn't use any kind of stimulant..
You know your kids better than anybody.
I've seen a great deal more misery caused by the abuse of alcohol than anything else..
Hard drugs.. a distant second.
Pot..? Give me a cookie..
They could hardly argue if you don't want it in your house..
As with anything in life... moderation.
