I feel something has to give. Too many tenuous situations.
Edge of the cliff.. type of thing.
No idea what will happen.. or what will set it off.

The dominoes are in place. Just needs a little push.. IMO.
I could be wrong. It could continue to simmer for awhile.

Fuku is not a stable situation, by any stretch.
Each day I expect bad things to happen.
I have no doubt that they will try to conceal it, as they have done so far.

The contamination continues, as we know.

I used to think it would be better to know what is happening.
Starting to believe it might be better for most to keep
sleeping... continue to be like the proverbial 'frog in the pot.'
That is just the way it is.

All we can do is attempt to inform.
Unless the greater mass of
population decides to act, it's out of our hands.

The thread I posted earlier is a prime example.
The information is out there, most don't care to
think about it.

Mr. Hasegawa, a cattle farmer from Iidate mura states the monitoring post data of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology is manipulated.

In this conference, he stated ,last November, Taisei corporation, which was outsourced for decontamination by the government, had 10 of their employees wash the monitoring post by high-pressure water and changed the whole soil of the base.

According to MEXT, the radiation level of Iidate mura in 2/20 was 0.755 microSv/h. However, another monitoring post was showing 3 microSv/h.

Additionally, on 3/14, when reactor3 exploded, the dosemeter in town councilor was showing 40 microSv/h, but the staff of town hall told him not to tell it to anyone because the town mayor forbids it.

Assistant professor Imanaka from Kyoto university checked the radiation level around in the town late in March but the town mayor requested him not to disclose it either.

Between October 16 and 19, Greenpeace checked 40 monitoring posts throughout Fukushima city. For 75% of them, the radiation readings close to the posts were lower than readings for their immediate surroundings. Contamination levels within 25 metres of the posts were up to six times higher than at the posts themselves.

The authorities claim they do not intend these monitoring posts to be misleading, stating that they publish information about which areas around the posts have been decontaminated. However, for the people living in the areas and anyone passing by, they certainly give the impression that contamination levels are lower than what they may be just a few metres from the posts.

Not only that, the decontamination work remains patchy. The authorities have taken care of the low hanging fruit such as some public parks and school yards, but our teams found that many hotspots remain throughout the communities, and little is being done to clean them up.

Yeah... they decontaminate the areas around the monitors.

yeh, i remember greenpeace observations.
-he also saying theyve altered the legislation and now using equipment that measures upto 40% lower than the original standard gear.
i always thought honor and honesty are connected. obviously not over there.
