Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1439992 ![]() 06/23/2011 11:57 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This below piece is with regards to Nagorny-Karabakh This region was controlled by the Russians until 1989 when they reluctantly most of the power over to their satelite state Azerbaijan. The problem was, the Armenians had been protesting, wanting the region to be handed over to Armenia. In 1991, Armenians living in Nagorny-Karabakh held a referenum in which a majority supported establishing a seperate state with Armenians in control. The Azerbaijanis rejected it and have threatened to use force to get it back ever since. In summary, the region of Nagorny-Karabakh (a disputed area in Azerbaijan) was clinched by Armenia in a vote not recognized by Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan (a Turkish ally) is threatening to invade this region (which is geopolitically theirs) which is controlled by the Armenians (Russian allies). In other words, we'd have Turkey (NATO) vs Russia. If you look at the map, you'll see how close it also is to other key players in the region. [excerpt from article] 17 years after the ceasefire that ended all-out fighting, tensions have escalated again with regular fire-fights along the Karabakh frontline and repeated threats from Baku to seize the region back by force if talks don't yield results. In response, the ethnic Armenian separatists who have controlled Karabakh since the war and their backers in Yerevan have threatened large-scale retaliation if Baku takes military action. The talks, which are expected to fail, are held TOMORROW. |

"All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances. - William Shakespeare from "As You Like It" There are 2 sides in everything that people are seeing.... 1) The New World Order consisting of the "elites" from every country 2) The rest of the world's population in every country. It's them against us. It's as simple as that. Stop believing their "Theater", and most things will stop happening. Do you remember when there were "theaters of war" during WW2? Theaters are for entertainment, right? The NWO starts every war and then they entertain themselves. It's a big chess match, but the world population always pays the price. |

On one side you have... Azerbaijan (which Turkey will fight for, bound by treaty) Armenia (which Russia will fight for, bound by treaty) Iran and Georgia (bordering both, who will enter the war). Oh and did I mention NATO?? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1382145 ![]() 06/23/2011 12:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Don't forget US economic collapse either - we have a whole bunch of enemies we haven't heard from in quite some time that will make their presence felt if we fall. We don't even have to completely collapse our economy - simply devaluing our dollar more (screwing the chinese/arabs out of their treasuries) may be enough. I'm not even going to talk about solar/natural disaster/food storage events that could lead to wars, nor am I touching terrorism. Face it, the entire planet is circling the drain. But I will give you a bump for the three listed, particularly the Turkey scenario. That's how these things usually get started, with friends of friends waring. That is an overlooked but very possible scenario. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1441079 ![]() 06/24/2011 03:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | And so it begins! Quoting: Epic Beard GuyWhat sense would make such a war. An instant relief from a inner pressure that is activated round the globe. And the only therapy is war. Meeting the ancestors, bumm-bumm, hello. Urges the patriarchal society after their covenant with the devil all the decades to renew again. Giving faces to men and women and a living in constant fear it might come again to that solution. Is war the highest court on earth who decides finally everything. From a haircut to a honeymoon, from a theory to the practice - no worry, the winner on the battlefield decides. A question about the mechanism that can be decided by the fortunes of war and how addicted we are to that "heilbringer". This, even though everyone knows that are clear and calm mind that war is nonsense to bog flowers bloom only yields, and causes immense damage that is disproportionate to the starting point of contention. What begins with war will end in war. Do not take it personally but stretched over generations, as a people-body reflex or as history of the patriarchate. |
