Re: Different Strokes for Different Folks.. an open Music thread.
Still not done, just here I guess to have you toss it if you listen to it. Added is the Hi-Hat for the drums. Yes, all done electronically sort-of because everything costs too much and most of the band (which now is only me - I have played all the instruments but do it on the synth now) which I refer to as the 7/8 Dead Band (sort of like the but not even close the - Grateful Dead), and have to get another piece of equipment to:
Sing it over again (still need practice)
Guitar Part (which will take practice).

Why? I guess to annoy anyone, and I am not struck by lightning, nor has Washington D.C. where perhaps it is needed more. But then after the Republican Debate on ABC last night,

duh.....................as far as I am concerned about any politician.

Well, off to get some food after more editing (synth works different then before analog real equipment I call it) so it is harder to play and move the volume pedal slightly so it ends up having to be edited or else I need a lot more practice.

I expect nothing for this, and about give nothing because I am not going to play live or set up any equipment either because it is not what I am going to do.

Have a good day, though, and don't worry, I will delete it later out of there, and the video won't be probably much anyway when perhaps I get it all done.

What it amounts to, is I can record better (faster sample rate and all of that) but the end result is you still have to finalize it down to the low end, because that is because you can not do anything else. Some new programs may have come out and HD, but I suppose someone else can afford that stuff, and that will be that.

So, mp3 this time, and if you do or don't listen to it, I really am not going to complain or get upset or even care if you did or did not. I just keep myself busy, and I guess annoy probably some people.
Well, goodbye, have to go, all to much work, I guess, not really bored, but rather be on another planet with some of the News I have to read about.

Toss it I suppose, I will get it done someday, if utube even lets it be uploaded (ya know they are going bonkers with the copyrights - I mean - that is advertisement for some good bands and everything, but then............people want free, and nothing in the end is really free.

Have a nice day, enough babbling.
I thought I interrupt your normal listening pattern.

Re: Different Strokes for Different Folks.. an open Music thread.
Thanks Strangla if that is spelled correctly. On another forum, a guy asked advice on a microphone because he wanted to record his acoustic guitar and sing some, so he ordered this $1000 microphone from Amazon. That was a mistake, he did not get the correct microphone and he thinks he got like a China cheap copy or something plus it was just plain wrong although the number except it was USB mic perhaps was just wrong. He called up Shure (it was a shure microphone he wanted to buy) and told them about Amazon selling fake stuff (or perhaps China making stuff they should not??) and they get irritated at it also. (there are music forum where these program are sold or you can buy at the store or somewhere).

So he had a thread on that, and as soon as they get the fake microphone back he will get his $1000 dollars back but they were going to also add $30 for something.

See, Christmas, hiring part-time help over the season, but then.............read above, because Amazon should not sell anything like that at all and Shure ain't happy about it.

[link to www.sweetwater.com]

not the place he bought it from but should of or some dealer similar but the microphone he did not get.

I ain't gonna spend that much on this, because I ain't gonna be a rock star, never was anyway, because like acting you usually end up working a real job, because of competition.
Just foolin' around for me a little!

But the guy (and rightfully so) was just peeved about what had happened. Order anything but check what you are getting this Holiday Season.

Have a good day I have to I guess buy something like this to make the singing better for a less then should not be recorded in environment recording place - called a home, not a studio by any stretch of the imagination. But then........a lot of people are doing it just because!

[link to www.sweetwater.com]

It all adds up, but then I am buying the cheaper one because........I doubt if it will help my singing that much anyway. More practice, and that is enough to do with editing and recording and all of that combined.

Oh, well, off I go.....................into another dimension. Maybe I can hide then but proabably not.

Cool, never heard of them before.

Hiroyoshi Yanagida – organ, piano
Eiji Kikuchi – lead guitar
Tadaki ‘Chu’ Kosaka – lead vocals
Haruomi Hosono – bass
Takashi Matsumoto – drums

Led by prime mover and ex-Floral organist Hiro Yaganida, the extremely cool and longhaired Apryl Fool quintet was one of the few New Rock bands even to approach the power and originality of their Western equivalents.
