I myself am a "renter" at this poiint in my experience of this life

just a matter of time till I must vacate 5 homes within 1/8 mile total tear downs...

trying to understand what you mean, 5 homes, is there a freeway expansion going on, or something like that?

Ugh that makes me sad, I prefer old over new...I am an odd one in that respect no doubt. I remember when I bought the land I had in CA, 400k for 20 acres with 7 wells. Several years ago it was selling for 2.7 million, and there was a lot of development that had occurred since I was up there. I visited it briefly when I drove to the Bay Area last fall. Was still such a peaceful place, the vultures even came and paid me a visit when I was relaxing on a hillside.

Development is bittersweet. I guess it depends on what side you are on. I am a bit old fashioned. When I had that parcel of land there was no one around for over one mile and it was heavenly.

Sorry, I am not in the best of moods, I have emailed the real estate agent, called twice, texted him and no response if there is an open house in half an hour, so I had to take matters in my own hands and say there will be no open house since no communications to me. Irritating to say the least with technology being what it is.

I am finding this communication issue everywhere and don't understand why. I go out of my way like I just described above, regularly, and receive nothing back. It's enough to make one want to drink straight whiskey.
