Ugh that makes me sad, I prefer old over new...I am an odd one in that respect no doubt. I remember when I bought the land I had in CA, 400k for 20 acres with 7 wells. Several years ago it was selling for 2.7 million, and there was a lot of development that had occurred since I was up there. I visited it briefly when I drove to the Bay Area last fall. Was still such a peaceful place, the vultures even came and paid me a visit when I was relaxing on a hillside.

Development is bittersweet. I guess it depends on what side you are on. I am a bit old fashioned. When I had that parcel of land there was no one around for over one mile and it was heavenly.
