Has always worked fine. Now, when I plug it up, a prompt screen comes up with three options: initialize, ignore, and something else i don't remember. what's up? how do i fix this? you get a gold star if you can help. |

1. Unplug external hard drive from MacBook
2. Boot Disk Utility in MacBook
3. Plug hard drive back in and see if it will let you repair it
4. If that doesn't work, take it to a Mac Genius at the Apple Store. |

Tell it to ignore, launch DiskWarrior and repair the disk [ link to www.alsoft.com] If DiskWarrior can't fix it well.... |
