I was in San Francisco in the 60's. I REMEMBER what acid feels like. Owsley Stanley, the famous LSD chemist would pass out some of his latest "batch" to some of us that lived in the Haight Ashbury (hippie/flower child section) of the city. It was pure.
I wouldn't take ANYTHING these days, except for some hydro.

I have tripped many times. It expands your mind somewhat while your tripping, but you wake up with a sore back and feeling stupid for about 3 days. Visually, it's almost like looking at the heat waves above a grill, except that EVERYTHING looks that way and shadows play tricks on your dialated pupils. Anyone who says that they saw "pink elephants" or some other apparition is full of shit.

Hmmm... so that's my problem... You just saved me a bunch of money in future therapy sessions.

I was at both I believe.. We didn't stop touring for a good 2 years or so, so yeah, I was at both. Didn't get inside, I just loved the scene at shows, so went regardless of wether I was going inside or not. I often gave any ticket(s) I managed to procure to some Dead Head who really loved the band more then I. We did tye-dyes. Remember the Vegas shows around the same time? Our shirts were screened and dyed, and said "BLAZING IN VEGAS" on them. A few shows we had tanks and balloons too....

Good times, I wish I could go back and relive them days...

if you're a calm balanced person who has no fear and haven't any serious problems in you're life recently (family deaths, dumped by lover, lost you're job)...

then it's magical and extremely intuitive


if you're miserable person with a fucked up brain who has many problems and also causes many problems for others, also you're full of fear with openness issues or understanding issues...

then it's detrimental and can be a very very bad experience

it's like you cant make an error even if you try

you just keep clearing tables from the break and opposing players don't ever even get they're turn to shoot

you can do several things at once with you're mind on LSD and I think that's why you become more aware of everything and also more accurate at everything
