I have asked myself a similar question a few times. "if Jesus were to show up today, on the street, with no miracles to prove his divinity but said the same things Jesus said, what would be the response?" and I think the best response would actually come from non-christians, who would appreciate a voice of reason and tolerance and oneness and brotherhood, while christians, so full of themselves and their hypocrisy, would dismiss him as just another kook. especially when he tells them how hypocritical and wrong they are, and how they must change their ways. that wouldn't do for them.

I do think practically everybody does have a Satanic streak in them, and it would be impossible for someone to conduct himself fully in obedience to God, but surprisingly I have come to the conclusion that God is the most Satanic of all. God is a tyrant, something is "good" only if God says so, and God demands that everyone worship him. that doesn't sound so ungodly until you consider that even the most heinous and evil things are "good" when they are done in the name of God, such as babies crawling on the floor of Hell because they haven't been "saved" yet, or torture or murdering your previous friends or family or neighbors because they are "on the side of the Devil", or refuse to convert, etc. how Satanic is that? that is the "God" they follow.

and wouldn't a "Satan" lie about such things, trick the gullible and betray his followers to take their souls for his own consumption? who says "God" isn't doing that? doesn't it appear to be the case?

I think the evil people of this world created this Satan and called it "God". this is not God. I don't believe it.

Be very weary of "New Age", much of it is a commercial product meant to benefit the authors, not the participants. In other words, many are making money off the gullible and easily impressionable, and that is rather unethical and in some cases down right evil.

You are looking too far into it. Satanism , more or less, is a religion based on worshipping the self, like you said. When people think of worship, they often only see worship as meaning one thing. Worship pretty much means to FOCUS on, to DWELL on, to OBSESS on.

Yes, Americans, and many in the western world, hell many ALL OVER THE GLOBE dwell on themselves.

When you start thinking of satan, god, and all that nonsense too much, it really distracts you from the simple truths of life. You can either life a life entirely focused on yourself, for yourself.....or you can live a life where you better yourself, for the MUTUAL happiness of yourself, and those around you.



Some people have it wrong. They think to be selfless, you must ignore the self, and just do for others. Nothing could be further from the truth. True selflessness is getting overself, and focusing on your SELF for the BETTERMENT of everyone. THAT is true selflessness.

Christs HAVE come and gone. Christians don't see it, because the WHOLE religion of modern christianity is nothing more than IDOL WORSHIP.

Jesus was an individual who obtained christ consciousness. He was born to PROVE to mankind, that MAN is capable of representing GOD in the Physical form. All the modern day christians ENTIRELY miss the point. They worship JESUS, when instead they should be worshipping CHRIST. Christ is the seed potential in ALL men, TRUE enlightenment, christ consciousness.


I find it SOOOOO insane that christians talk about pagans, or people who believe in multiple gods, etc......yet their WHOLE religion is about idol worship.

Be very weary of "religion" in general. Nobody needs a pastor. Each man is able to find God in his own way. God is INSIDE of us, and God is NOT in religions. Religions are manmade inventions, designed to capture the wisdom and paths set by those who have either found, or come close to "God", "nirvana" "enlightenment" or whatever you want to call it.


Just like how a gun can be used to protect you, or kill you......likewise, spirituality can be used to bring you closer to the Source, or religion can be used to CRIPPLE you, BLIND you, take MONEY from you, DELUDE you, and CONFUSE you.

One has to be very careful when treading the path. Any "religion" that teaches blind faith , isn't the way to god. Any religion that denies science, isn't the way to God. Any religion that teaches you that you are born in Sin, isn't healthy. Religion should be kept slim. It should be the straightest path to your Source, nothing else is needed. Anything more than the teachings and material which lead to your Source, is extra weight, dangerous, and shouldn't be a part of religion.

Glad someone else understands. I'm not even "christian", but I've read the 4 gospels Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John more times than I can count throughout my life. Those 4 gospels are the ONLY thing you need to read to be a true "christian". Real Christianity isn't about the bible.....it is about the life of a man who obtained Christ Consciousness, and sacrificed his life to set an example of the possibility of consciousness in Man. He could have easily lived as a recluse, and lived out his whole life, instead he chose to go public, and live a life of service, as testament to the possibility of consciousness in Man.

Modern "christians" don't realize you don't Honor him by worshipping him. You honor him by recognizing his achievment, and setting out to obtain the SAME. Christ said, for those why truly understand him, they will go on to do BETTER things than he has, because he knew his life would be short.

you are saying exactly what Gnosticism was about. that was said, done and over with 2000 years ago and forgotten ever since. they focused on "the Christos" and that is where "Christ" in "Jesus Christ" came from.

if that's what interests you, you should read up on it. it's all there in the books. I think the reason why so many people don't is because they are interested, for themselves, in a "religion" that convinces everybody else, instead of a philosophy that actually works yet convinces nobody else.

That and religion is sort of a trap in that it often teaches its followers not to think for themselves or seek the truth in a way outside of the institution itself. It's a vicious cycle, simply put. I found the Bible very valuable, but taking the whole thing literally and not reading between the lines is dangerous IMHO.

Personally I think if we walk with truth in our lives and assume the truth is love and everything that comes from love we can infer these traits: Honesty, charity, compassion, etc. It's as simple as that.

Once we start losing ourselves to the superstition and our imagination we go in circles trying to figure out what this "God" is and forget to practice the lessons we learned in the first place. It becomes more about who is evil/good right/wrong instead of simply pulling up a chair and sharing our bread and wine with each other. When something, even religion, becomes divisive we have to let go of it and seek a less divisive path. Humility in humanity.

If it's not in the Bible, then isn't it slandering God to say he would do such an unjust thing? This is Jesus addressing the religious leaders of his day:
