I know a kid fighting cancer.It would be hard for me to put myself in his shoes.Its a fine line,chemo.to much and the liver has issues,I think,I know he recently had a spike in white blood cells,and that they lowered,his chemo.Not sure how he is doing,because I dont like to ask his mom to much about it.My mother passed of this in the 70s

She takes high strength vitamins, Manuka Honey and Blackstrap Mollases. Her white cell count is almost back in the normal range.

I'm a premed grad,..pay close attention to what I have to say OP.. I read a few years ago about a cure discovered for Leukemia in a story from Reuters but that it was very very expensive. There are cures out there..the question is whether or not they are affordable or if the for profit american medical industry will allow you to have them.

You can help save your friend but you will need some unbiased help to do it.
number ONE rule.. don't listed to the doctors/hospitals.etc.
Do the research yourself and RESIST chemo and radiation. because it will KILL faster than the cancer!

Do not be surprised if your friend ends up not listening to your good advice. Most people are so scared they beg the doctor to "save" them with chemo and radiation. This is what I have seen, anyway.

It takes a complete personal turnaround to become free of cancer. Most people are not willing to do the work.

Here is a remedy used by a Prof. Brauchle in Dresden for children with leukemia. It works with adults as well. I found it in a publication, written by Hanna Kroeger, his nurse:

The Egg Fruit Drink

1 pt. freshly squeezed orange juice
1 pt. freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
1 pt. water with the juice of 3 limes
1 pt. water with the juice of 2 lemons
1 pt. frozen pineapple juice, diluted
1 pt. papaya juice, distilled
1 pt. grape juice
12 whole eggs
6 egg yolks

Beat the eggs and mix into fruit mixture. This is one day's supply. For a child, 1/3 to 1/2 of the above amount.

The beating of the eggs and egg yolks seems very important. Eggs prepared this way will remove avidin from the stomach.

Hanna wrote that this type of cancer does not have the characteristics of a fungus disease as do the other types.

Also, showing lots of love to the patient works wonders, especially in children.

You're right about that. Most people are so fucking brainwashed that they think only the doctors can help that they don't even try. Pitiful. Especially when you consider the fact that the majority of cancer doctors say they personally would not take chemo.

A friends daughter is being treated at the Cleveland Clinic for Leukemia. I forget the drug that she is using but the cancer has gone into total remission. She did not have to go into any sort of radiation or kemo treatment. She is in her twenties and doing fine. Contact the Cleveland clinic for possible appointment to find out more.

Here ya go, this is an excellent website, it is full of very useful links and videos. Check it out. My brother had leukemia and at least got some fresh lemon grass, and it helped. The 4 kinds are ALL, AML, CLL, CML. I have CML which is Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. A doctor developed an oral chemotherapy in 2001. It is called Gleevec. People with CML taking Gleevec are STILL ALIVE. People who did not take Gleevec (before it was made) have died. This type is the only leukemia with an oral chemo.

Talk with an Oncologist...don't take advice from just anyone on a forum. Sure eating right helps you feel better and certain herbs are probably good for you but see a doctor who knows all about leukemia. This is a blood cancer---NOT a common cold.

I read somewhere that green tea has proven effective against leukemia. Try searching PubMed or EurekAlert.

Most people do not know that there are 4 different types of Leukemia that a person can get.

I went to the doctor because I was feeling tired and after routine blood work they found out that my white blood cell count was very high. Then I had a bone marrow biopsy to determine if I had leukemia and what type.

After the bone marrow biopsy was done they discovered that I have the two abnormal chromosomes, (9 and 22). The two chromosomes actually break off at the bottom and translocate (switch places…part of 9 attaches to 22 and part of 22 attaches to 9).
It is an abnormal genetic translocation.
The consequence of this abnormal translocation is the creation of an abnormal fusion gene called BCR-ABL. This fusion gene, in turn, results in the production of an abnormal fusion protein called tyrosine kinase, an enzyme that promotes leukemia transformation….cancer.

This is a brief description of the cancer I have. In 2001 they created an oral chemotherapy called Gleevec that inhibits the tyrosine kinase enzyme produced by the abnormal BCR-BL fusion gene that causes the uncontrolled growth and proliferation of white blood cells. Most CML people that started this drug are alive today (9 years). It is not a cure (that would be a bone marrow transplant…) but it keeps you in an remission state if your blood work goes down to 0.

These things do not CURE cancer.  They may help in little ways, such as anti-oxidants.  Healthy eating in general will help overall well-being.  But it isn't a cure.

I know everyone who offers advice are just relaying information they've read or heard.  And that their intentions are well-meaning and from the heart.

And if there were truly a "cure" for cancer, every single pharmaceutical company would want the patent and rights on it.

My now thirty year old son was diagnosed with ALL (acute lymphocytic leukemia) at age four. He was part of a multi-drug chemotherapy - some old, some new - trial that lasted five years but actually took almost seven to complete. In conjunction I used nutrition, guided imagery and probably desperate love of my child to support him in every way. He survived and is a beautiful human being, intelligent, good looking and very even keeled in his approach to life. I did not like the medicines he had to be subjected to but they saved his life. I don't know if I would have the courage to subject myself to that kind of torture if the situation arose.
