Anyone with kids should probably think twice before trying to raise them in San Francisco anyway. The fact they try to do this, should tell you they aren't a kid-friendly city.

Haven't read the law but I am assuming it is to prevent the SALE of animals, particularly by these horrible pet stores with puppy mills and what not. Good riddance, and good for San Francisco. There are too many homeless animals, even cute little puppies for this breeding shit to continue. It's abuse. San Francisco is always on the cutting edge with trans fats, gay marriage, etc. It rocks! Nobody is taking pets away from children. Sheesh.
