more crops.. seriously are we going to have ANY food by next year with crop failure and radiation :(
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1443318My thoughts exactly. Worst cold they've had in nearly 100 yrs, people dying, crops being ruined. Strange times we live in. Quoting: SwampWitchYea everything that happens seems to be wiping yet another food source. It is very worrying I have brought a fair amount of bulk rice and beans, canned food but no where near enough for a year.. Hope business stays good so I can still buy food if it gets more hikes which I think is inevitable. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1443318I agree, prices will really go up. There are some pretty good dehydrated foods available online, might think about that if you haven't already - easy to store enough for a year+ that way. Some have a 20 or 25 yr shelf life. That's a plus. Quoting: SwampWitchMight look and see if there are any local sites here, just got totally smacked with a customs tax and bio maf tax on a shipment from the US an extra $200 on top of $1100 spent after the exchange rate turned against me during the time or purchase to the order been processed a week later added a fair chunk to the cost ouch.
