How Safe is Your Safety Deposit Box?
NOT VERY!

I don't think it's any secret that I'm not exactly a fan of banks in general, nor do I trust the government. Having said that I think you might not be surprised to know that the items in your safety deposit box are not very secure at all. Read your safety deposit box contract with the bank. The bank can confiscate the contents of your safety deposit box for a myriad of reasons including a bank holiday, a subpoena, a bank-run, a writ of process by a court or other authority (hmmm what authority could that be?).

Oh, it's a lot worse than that.

States have been raiding safety deposit boxes and bank accounts in an effort to raise money. California, for example, used to have a 15-year inactive policy regarding safety deposit boxes. If no one had accessed it in 15 years, they would seize the contents. If they couldn't find the owner, the contents became state property. California lowered this from 15 years to 10 years, then to 7 years, then to 5 years, then to 3 years. And then they stopped pretending to look for the owner, they now just steal the contents:

"In an internal memo obtained by ABC News, the lawyer for California's Bureau of Unclaimed Property objected to efforts to find the owners because "It could well result in additional claims of monies that would otherwise flow into the general fund."

"San Francisco resident Carla Ruff's safe-deposit box was drilled, seized, and turned over to the state of California, marked "owner unknown."

"I was appalled," Ruff said. "I felt violated."

Unknown? Carla's name was right on documents in the box at the Noe Valley Bank of America location. So was her address -- a house about six blocks from the bank. Carla had a checking account at the bank, too -- still does -- and receives regular statements. Plus, she has receipts showing she's the kind of person who paid her box rental fee. And yet, she says nobody ever notified her."

Banks are not your friends.

You are better off burying your valuables in a shoebox in the backyard rather than stepping foot ever into a bank again.

If you still have ANY money in a bank, savings & loan, or credit union, it's a good ideal to check to see how your bank rates:

If your bank gets a rating of "D" or lower, move your money out today. Yes, the federal reserve may insure the money and you may get it back if it fails, but why take the chance? You can also use that tool to find banks that are stable in your area.

Most of the banks with the highest ratings are community banks. Even with the same rating, where would you rather have your money - a big bank that's headquartered out of state or one that have a few branches near you and where the owner lives in the community?

Re: How Safe is Your Safety Deposit Box?
Let's get this clear for the sheep-apes:

The PEOPLE who invented BANKS exists ONLY to take YOUR HARD-EARNED wealth and USE IT FOR THEMSELVES.

When you give it to them, it is THEIRS.

They are the worst kind of thieves, because they have convinced everybody that they are the "good guys" when in reality, they are the ones implementing policy WORLDWIDE that oppresses and pillages the people of earth.

At the very top, BANKERS are MURDERING THIEVES. THEY are the ones who give the orders to invade countries and gradually empower lowly police officer to MURDER anybody who even questions a traffic stop.

IT ALL GOES BACK TO THE BANKERS.

The ONLY way to rid the Earth of these soulless vipers is to:

STOP. GIVING. THEM. YOUR. STUFF.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and

STOP. TAKING. LOANS.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then, the beast will die.
