Here is the Punch Line:

"Therefore: I demand that you stand up to the political establishment by rejecting this and any other business as usual compromise on the debt ceiling. Instead, I urge you to join Ron Paul in signing the "Cut, Cap, and Balance" pledge immediately if you have not yet done so. "

Interesting stuff.

Although I'm still really worried Ron Paul is playing us. Apparently he has some good evidence to suggest he is not (I haven't researched him thoroughly just yet, but I will), but because I want him to be forreal, it makes me think he might not be.

Sad what American politicians have done to me (and others i'm sure), isn't it?

Dude, read his book "End the Fed". He goes in great detail about his whole life from childhood the where he is today giving you and awesome background on who he is and why he holds his believes and why he feels so strongly about ending the Federal Reserve,. Awesome book for anyone who has not read it, then read Liberty defined.

He's for real!

Please, continue your research on Ron Paul, via here or through the web. This man is steadfast in his beliefs and ideology and has been for well over 30+ years. RP was a bit too radical with his beliefs in 08 with the mainstream populas, but as our country continues to quickly unwind, I think you as well as many will begin to realize, he is the right man at the right time!

completely random and off topic here but since your name is Texas Uncensored, how is Texas treating you?

I have never been to Texas but there is something about Austin that seems so appealing to me that I keep wanting to move there...

Any thoughts?

I can understand that because of the behavior of most, all get blamed. But this man is different. Just take a look at his Congressional record, and you will see.
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Ron Paul is genuinely pissed off at what is happening in DC.
He's fed up with what is going on in Congress, the game playing, the lies, the corruption.

I look forward to seeing him clean that place up.
give him a chance. He's the most honest and respected man in Washington DC because of his integrity.

Thank you much. If I can encourage anyone to get behind this man, I will. We need ron Paul in the White House running the government.

It's time common sense and consistency return to the White House.

I'm a native, grew up on a farm/ranch. Growing up it seemed kind of like the old west without the gunfights.
I liked it. LOL
Texas still feels like this wide open place where anything is possible. Austin is a very cool place, and beautiful just outside the city. Hills, lakes, lush folaige and trees, and cactus. Good music, good people. Great educational facilities.

Right now, the economy is tough. Houston is considered a good job market, but my hubby has been looking for almost 2 years.
I don't know what the job situation is in Austin. Also, I don't know what the illegals' numbers are there either.
It's worth doing some research on, and taking a trip to check it out before making a move.
Good luck!

Thanks! Ya I was planning on a trip first :-p

The housing values seem really good in Texas and Austin in particular looks beautiful in pictures and seems to have a large number of Video Game Development companies (my hopeful line of work)

I also took note than Ron Paul is from Texas :-P

TU, best wishes to you and your husband. You fight the good fight!

Please anyone with questions about Ron Paul; his direction, his idealogy, his philosophy, whatever....Whether you believe us RP patriots or not, take 30 minute or take 6 hours if you care and educate yourself on Ron Paul and what he represents.

Education is huge, there is so much dis-information being spread via the web and even more through the MSM that it's not always easy trying to determine whats authentic and what is not.

Personally, I have never been incredibly politacally savy and with much honesty I can say I was never introduced to Ron Paul until recently.

After considerable research on Ron Paul, as with our other GOP candidates running for the 2012 Presidentional election, I can proudly say Ron Paul represents my own personal beliefs and opionins and I'm sure many of you that are questioning our polital system and are striving for a better country will come to a similar conclusion.

Thats my hope: God Bless America and God Bless you GLPer's!

Thank you for the well wishes. We are trying to keep a positive outlook.

I think we question why our politicians are not following the Consitution and Bill of Rights. If they did this, our nation would be in good shape in every way.
I wonder how much better things would be had they spent money on infrastructure, and green energy tech, instead of destroying other countries for oil.

I believe that Ron Paul is the only candidate that fully understands what has to be done, and who knows how to get it done. He is highly respected, and would get cooperation from the beginning.
He is a fighter. We need him.
