The past few weeks, my bigscreen television has been turning itself on every morning at 6:00 a.m. Being the techno-tard that I am, I've been unable to figure out how to re-set the timer on it. So, every morning I have to physically shut the dumb thing off myself. It never really powers off, just goes into something like standby mode... This morning, however, after I shut it off, I went back into my bedroom to finish getting dressed. I suddenly heard a phone ringing. Funny thing is - I don't have a telephone - and I'd sent the cell with my husband last night before he went to work because I was worried about some car problems we were having. So - no phone at all in my house. I went creeping towards the sound trying to figure out how a phone got into my house and I ended up standing right in front of my television where the ringing was apparently coming from. That's where the sound was coming from, alright. What the heck? Anybody in GLP-Land know what the heck it is?  |

MmmKay? no it won't/doesn't, regardless of appliance model, this would NEVER happen. you would have to go into the settings & reset the unit to 'factory default' settings or possibly another setting depending on the appliance. I had a dvd recorder that did this @ 8am every morning, someone messed around with the settings. |
