I bought the book ages ago, before internet. I dunno, somebody told me it was awesome, but I don't remember who.

I read a fair bit of it before I decided it was total bullshit. Certainly a lot more than I read of the Bible at about four years old. I decided both were just stories. The Bible was more interesting, but the Urantia story was so fake and purposely convoluted, to fool those of weaker mind into thinking it must be real, because it's so 'complex'. In other words, if they were sufficiently confused and baffled by it, they would be suckered right in.

Soap bubbles are complex too. I'm thinking anyone who read all the way through that tome, with little attachment to reality in the first place, would be totally brainwashed by it. That percentage of people would be miniscule.
