New agers claim to have received chanelled info, I think it's all bullshit, they just recycled the old esoteric secrets from egypt, mesopotamia, india and mesoamerica to create some product to sell. it's all big business, based on a lot of lies.

In defense of Eckhart Tolle, I will say that his writing ability is far superior to whomever wrote the Urantia Book. I read his book "Power of Now" and one can learn a few important things from it. It is basically Buddhism repackaged for modern times, but without the hokey religious rituals and all the esoteric crap.
