GOOD !!!! the sooner the better ... These low-cost homes are KILLING the people who paid their note and now want to move elsewhere... I think if the darn banks would buy a few of these homes at a half way decent price it would raise the value of their foreclosed homes... they got all that free money, the can create a market...

Don't doubt. I've noticed some of the biggest, newest, nicest apt complexes are for section 8 ONLY! It's crazy.

Notice how the mansions in the cities were turned into flats years ago? Those big homes with a bar in the basement can be easily transformed into multiple family units and then those neighborhoods will go downhill.

these would probably ONLY BE Government owned foreclosed homes, and it's better than having them clog up the real estate market

Many of the foreclosed homes such as those with FNMA and FMAC already continue being rented out for another year or more if they have a tenant at the time of foreclosure. FNMA doesn't even try to sell them they sign the people up for a new one year lease at fair market rent.
