Is it true? Do I think it’s true? I have no idea if it’s true or not, how could I? Compared to our everyday lives, it sounds pretty far fetched, I agree. However, when placed in context with everything else, if the J-rods are real, if the Ganesh particle is fact, if MIB are wandering around, if abduction quotas were set and broken, if Dan experienced a mind meld…….then the appearance of an ‘angelic’ being (which incidentally, ‘allegedly’ spoke in a dialect that was reported to be ‘possibly’ ancient Hebrew, a language that Dan himself didn’t understand, and yet knew the meaning of….I hear you sigh at this point!) would be just another fantastic claim that would appear nonsensical on the face of it. But, who knows? How can the veracity of an angelic being be tested? All I can say is that if we can verify with certainty that some parts of Dans story are true, then it follows that the likelihood of other parts of the story being true increase significantly.

Why did it speak Hebrew (assuming it was Hebrew, see above). Why not speak Hebrew? Would you be happier if it had spoken Chinese? Or Russian? Or English? Perhaps it didn’t want to be understood by every Tom, Dick or Harry?

I have only a vague idea about what you may infer when you talk of ‘Abrahamic faiths’. So can’t comment, but I guess that answers your question anyway.
