Since Nov. 2001, when the price of Nature's Own stone ground bread was $1.69, it has risen to $2.79, a 60% increase. If roaring inflation takes place, all we'll able to afford is the bread wrapper. Learn to bake your own biscuits, bread, and rolls. Corn bread is nice if you can find non-GMO corn meal. It isn't going to be easy for those who have lavished themselves on electronic toys, expensive cell phones, expensive internet and TV. Some very difficult choices are going to be made. Obama has warned that we will not be driving where we will, eat as much as we have, nor keep our homes cooled to a comfy 72 degrees. HE WAS NOT THREATENING! HE'S CALLING IT LIKE IT IS, AND THERE IS NOTHING HE CAN DO ABOUT IT. I fear for the people who are still buying homes. Imagine their surprise when they find they can't afford the payments because they have to feed the kids, too. . |
