I sincerely think there are thousands upon thousands of us that are drunk on the Kool-Aid thinking that this is a normal time in our lives. Despite the many dark an ominous signs to the contrary, there is something in us that wants to cling to a hope that this world is going to get better;despite what God has so graciously and lovingly warned us about.
I so wish I could just share a “feel good” message that we could all be of good cheer and have a gazillion likes on Facebook because my carnal side wants to be liked, but that is not the call of this hour. God is raising-up many voices in preparing His way with a message of:

SOBER UP! Please realize that this is not the “same ole same ole.” Entire nations are on the edge of insolvency, the Federal Reserve is printing money over and over. NOT to bail us out but to enslave by extending the grasp of debt upon more and more people. The end of “this age” is a time called “Jacob’s Trouble” and it is all about Israel being dealt with by God and it’s rejection of His Son Jesus! They will have no ally but God and they will be scared. You can see it already when they talk of Iran’s nuclear program and deal with their superpower friend, America, seemingly leaving them out to dry. When war does break out...this world will never be the same!

In following Him, we are to let go of this place and instead long for the place where Jesus dwells. There is a major difference between earth and heaven...one is sin cursed and headed toward a time where unless God shortened the days no flesh will survive versus the place where the Builder and Maker;the Lord dwells.



Put down the Kool-Aid and pay great attention to whatever it is that God is trying to get us to hear, and I’m not talking about this particular message. I’m talking about your own particular assignment, the email you need to type to a friend or neighbor or prodigal child or making right of a broken relationship due to lack of forgiveness.

Getting our priorities of our daily routines in order that have included God, but giving Him our leftover time instead of our best time.

IF there was ever a time in our life that God was calling us to a dedicated, intentional and purposeful time in our prayer closet, it is now!

Hmm..that could explain things a bit.

I just recently..as in a month ago..found out that I am in fact of jewish decent through my mothers side..and my grandfather was also Jewish of the tribe of Levi..so he said anyhow.

Would also explain why I never fit in to this world..and have always had the sense that its NOT my home..that im just passing through.

It would also explain why I dont see God as some sort of mystery..some vast horrible being who loves to smite and kill..ive always seen him..as..dad..not some remote angry horror of mankind like most people envisage him.

I relate to him about as casually as you would relate to your own father..with respect..but a certain friendly familiarity..like there are no secrets between us.

I dont see God as mysterious..for me he has always been part of my life.

Please empty me Lord. I want more of you and less of me.

"What does it mean to grieve / quench the Holy Spirit?"

When the word “quench” is used in Scripture, it is speaking of suppressing fire. When believers put on the shield of faith, as part of their armor of God (Ephesians 6:16), they are extinguishing the power of the fiery darts from Satan. Christ described hell as a place where the fire would not be “quenched” (Mark 9:44, 46, 48). Likewise, the Holy Spirit is a fire dwelling in each believer. He wants to express Himself in our actions and attitudes. When believers do not allow the Spirit to be seen in our actions, when we do what we know is wrong, we suppress or quench the Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:19). We do not allow the Spirit to reveal Himself the way that He wants to.

To understand what it means to grieve the Spirit, we must first understand that this indicates the Spirit possesses personality. Only a person can be grieved; therefore, the Spirit must be a divine person in order to have this emotion. Once we understand this, we can better understand how He is grieved, mainly because we too are grieved. Ephesians 4:30 tells us that we should not grieve the Spirit. We grieve the Spirit by living like the pagans (4:17-19), by lying (4:25), by being angry (4:26-27), by stealing (4:28), by cursing (4:29), by being bitter (4:31), by being unforgiving (4:32), and by being sexually immoral (5:3-5). To grieve the Spirit is to act out in a sinful manner, whether it is in thought only or in both thought and deed.

Both quenching and grieving the Spirit are similar in their effects. Both hinder a godly lifestyle. Both happen when a believer sins against God and follows his or her own worldly desires. The only correct road to follow is the road that leads the believer closer to God and purity, and farther away from the world and sin. Just as we do not like to be grieved, and just as we do not seek to quench what is good—so we should not grieve or quench the Holy Spirit by refusing to follow His leading.

I've been in and out healthwise lately and I just realized what it could be. I have oncoming symptoms for the shingles. I'm going to see a doctor soon but am trying to keep it at bay. As of today, I can feel it coming on much stronger. The first time I got this was eight years ago...before I got pregnant and developed more autoimmune symptoms. This past month has been a trip!

Listen, you can take hold of this illness. Outloud, command it to leave and not return! I mean get mad! It's your body and you have authority over it! Get angry and command it to leave immediately in Jesus name!

Last night I was praying and my ear started hurting. I got so pissed off that I yelled at it and commanded that it leave immediately in jesus name, and it did! The pain stopped instantly and didn't come back.

Please add another one for my husband. He needs it more than I do. He's losing faith by the day and with everything else that's going on, I can only try to do what I can for the both of us and our boys. That of course took its toll on me now. I tell you I wish it was somewhere on my body where I could have it covered all the time but it's just on my FACE...I feel like at Brillo pad a the moment. It was above my left eye when I got it the first time in November 2003. Now it's all on the right side of my face. Going to the doc's tomorrow but I've been using my home remedies today.

TW, remember my first YT video? How IRONIC is it that I had pink eye at this time last year? Just wow...



For the past couple of nights, I've been waking up feeling a negative presence in my bedroom and having to rebuke it while I'm half asleep...bad dreams are happening too but I force myself to forget them. I believe the dreams I've been having plus the research I've been led to do lately is part of all this. Maybe the negative spirits are not happy about it. It's been affecting me and my family and now my health. I don't know...well anyway I have so much more but I'll just post it in spurts...LOVE YOU ALL MY BROTHERS & SISTERS

You're not alone, we are all being attacked lately. Time is short and satan knows it! We are his enemies and he will do everything that he can to destroy us one way or another.

I'm rebuking evil constantly too, I mean on a daily basis. Literally! It's horrible!

This whole situation is sad... And BDE I have read your posts... My hub same thing... and ass far as the hives go it was strange to see that you had them.. I had them 2 days ago and HAD to take benedryl...( I don't take pills I hate it) but some of the things you said I have been going through exact same things.... There is definitely a similar spirit in this house!
