I've read the Z. Sitchin interpretation of the Sumerian tablets as well as other views, and if there lies any truth in any of it (the bible as well as other religious texts), God, gods and ancient civilizations (advanced or alien) were just as screwed up and power driven as we are. Not much hope there if anyone is expecting a new age enlightenment and peace from an Anunnaki return, reptilians or greys.
