so a coarse-grained plutonic rock between granite and diorite in composition.

now if the geological integrity of this rock is "between" granite and granodiorite.

When I was a child I went on several archaeological expeditions with my father.

One of the places we went was a farm in Mississippi.

In the middle of the farmer's field was a "Mound Builder" mound in the shape of a
thunderbird flying west.

All around the mound were fist size clay balls.


Very interesting! Maybe that clay balls were associated somehow with the thunderbird myth/cult, or maybe apported by worshippers (for example, in other cultures little stones are apported on sacred places by the visitors)

thay are the same as the Moeraki Boulders in the east coast of the south island in nz they are formed it the ground as the earth moves and compress's them theres loads of them there
