Just wondering what did they say to do with the pkgs? Get rid of it? Send it back to the store or other facility? If it's the latter, it's questionable I think.

Someone here on GLP mentioned about food recalls being set up as a way to round up a massive amount of prepared food in a short time period for the bunkers hiding!! Don't know if it's true but who knows!

I re-read the article. Funny enough...they don't state what to do with it. I can not speak for other places of business...but where I work, if something is recalled and somebody brings it back to the store, we give a refund and the product thrown immediately in the trash.

I hope like hell other businesses have such a policy in place. If not...they sure as hell should.

I propose people let Cargill have it. And when I say that...I mean hit 'em where it hurts. In the wallet. "I'm sorry" just does not cut it for me when it comes to mega corporations....especially given the fact that it was produced for such a long period of time. If they had any real business ethics the very first time it tested positive, they would have thrown the shit out without hesitation, stopped production and scrubbed the place from top to bottom. Whatever happened to ethics and integrity?

ethics and integrity are not part of the business model
