I am not really sure about the other uses, but I had a bottle sitting around and never used it because I had read about it turning people blue so kind of just sat there. Then a few years later I got this itch on my foot that would not go away. I tried everything from normal western science and over the counter medicine. I was getting really worried becuase this thing itches so bad I would scratch through the skin until there was a cut on the bottom of my foot. That made it feel better having a cut there but then it hurt. Get this though. When the cut would heal it would begin to itch again. There was no getting away from this thing. I think you just have to be careful with it and the people who take it until they are blue in the face are a little nuts!
