i've been making CS for a long time now, using it for tooth infections, a UTI my dog has, most recently. a few months ago, i quite badly burnt my fingers, so tried my normal trick, which is just very cold water on the burn. but that time i added some CS to the cold water on the basis that it was a bad burn and i didn't want an infection, and i was amazed at how quickly it healed. i expected to be scarred from this burn, and it was completely healed within 60 hours. off to read the rest of this thread.

yes. i've made and used CS as an anti-bacterial/fungal/viral for years, but i had no idea that it promotes wound healing, too.

that page is still up, thankfully. quoting some of becker's work which explains my remarkably quickly healed burn:

"In each case, the nonunions healed even faster than they would have if negative electrical currents had been used. In addition, the soft tissues and skin healed at the same extraordinary rate. The electrically generated silver ion was doing something more than killing bacteria it was also causing major growth stimulation of tissues in the wound.

When we finally tracked down exactly what was happening, we found that as human fibroblast cells (which are common throughout the body) were exposed to the electrically generated silver ions, they dedifferentiated. They were then able to multiply at a great rate, producing large numbers of primitive, embryonic cells in the wound even in patients over fifty years of age. so ionic (not colloidal, the size of the particles of silver is key) silver acts to heal any part of the body that has fibroblasts present (i.e. most of the body), as long as you can get the ions within a cm of the wound. having seen this work myself, i genuinely found it practically miraculous.

The silver-based procedure has been so successful in clinical tests, that one patient who had sustained three crushed fingers in an accident grew new tissue immediately. i would struggle to believe this if it weren't for that happy accident of the burn. but having seen this in action, it's tragic that it's not more widely known. ionic silver is truly remarkable stuff.

I don’t know but cool idea. I just visualized an entire pool coated in silver. That would look awesome.

Oh well I guess your right. There is always a shock of contaminates so you always need a shock of sanitizers.

20,000 gallon swimming pool in Nebraska. There was no dis-
infectant of any kind in the water. Fifty gallons of mun-
icipal sewage plant effluent was put in the pool. That
produced a dangerous concentration of 7,000 E. Coli bac-
teria cells per 100 milliliters (half a cup) of water.
Contents of the pool were pumped through a tank con-
taining alternating anodic and cathodic silver electrodes
for disinfection. Within three hours the pool was entirely
free of E. Coli bacteria and the water contained only 3.2
parts of silver per billion parts of water.

The Allegeny County Health Department in Pennsylvania
conducted tests in a 152,000 gallon pool which previously
has been disinfected by a 50 pounds-per-day chlorinator.
The system was replaced by a silver system for the swim-
ming seasons of 1974 and 1975. Pool water circulated thr-
ough a filter of activated carbon impregnated with metal-
lic silver. The county Health Department took up to 50
daily samples and found that silver ions remained in
the pool at a low, steady rate of 20 parts per billion
with water free of coliform, pseudomonas and staphylococcus
bacteria through-out the two seasons. In contrast, 65
water samples from 30 other pools having a mean concen-
tration of 700 parts per billion of available chlorine
for disinfecting, showed a mean of 1.3 pseudomonas and
7.3 staph. cells per milliliter of water.

"This data", the Health Department reported, "indicates that silver is equal to chlorine in maintaining essentially
coliform free pool water, and is somewhat better than
chlorine in destroying pseudomonas and staph. aureus org-
anisms ....." It should be noted that there were no visible growths of algae during the tests.

so my newest experiment with ionic silver has been on plants, as i read somewhere it causes them to grow bigger/better/faster/more. it's early days in my experiment, but it appears to be true; i took 2 lots of identical barley seeds, soaked some in water, some in ionic silver, and then treated them both as i would if i want to sprout them to eat them. 3 days into this experiment, i'd say something like 5x as many seeds in the ionic silver batch have sprouted compared to the normal water.

The value of silver in medicine, and as a purifier has been
acknowledged for centuries. Egyptians implantes silver
plates into skulls, with surgery. In ancient Greece and
Rome, people used silver containers to keep liquids fresh.

After testing 23 methods of purifying water, NASA has chosen

Shuttle crews with pure water for drinking, air condition-

will be recycled in Shuttle flights and silver's first job
will be to treat hydrogen-saturated water coming from the

A radiator blew up in face and chest.in 1986,melted my face and chest.silvadine was the ointment they gave me.in one month my skin was healed.barely any scarring.

Oh and as an a/c tech i would weld copper.i kept a pot of water beside me.if i touched a part i knew was hot by mistake.i could slap my finger in that water fast and not even blister.you have to do it fast.

Well I have often wondered about that.

A silver coin can keep a jug of milk from spoiling, and eating with silver
utensils and on silver plates keeps an elevated level of blood silver and
immunity.

Plus using colloidal with too high a PPM can turn one blue I understand.

So I'm thinking that maybe particulate silver is possibly as beneficial.
Therefore the question remain how big is a silver particle wearing off of
a utensil or plate, and does the digestion ionize it perhaps?

My interpretation of the ionizing therapy was perhaps something like putting a silver coin i between your skin and the leads on an EMS machine, which I am of course not recommending to anyone, however does seem it would flood the skin with silver ions.

If it was used in a pool filter system would the particles become monoatomic just by having water wash over a block of bullion??
