NUMEROLOGISTS - Extremely ODD coincidences in my life. Worth a read. I promise.

Now, I'm not buying everything Mr. Gary The Numbers guy says...not even close. He's making some obviously marked stretches, I think. ( No offense to you, Gary, if you're reading. Don't take my statement personally ) But, it is what it is. His stuff has made my mind start going again about some things in my own life that have never troubled me, but have certainly perplexed me to the extreme.

This stuff is about the COINCIDENCES BETWEEN MY WIFE AND I. Some may seem insignificant, but add em all up. Set me straight if I'm seeing things that aren't there.

My birthday 8/9/1983
Her birthday 8/10/1985
One day apart, in other words.

Our fathers, were both sons to extreme alcoholics and abusers who reformed themselves late in life.

Our parents, despite growing up in separate states, attended and graduated from the same university. Her mother AND father. My mother AND father.

Both of us, despite being your standard white/Irish background Americans, grew up on opposite sides of the world because of our parent's work.

Ironically, the first time we encountered each other was at a summer camp. Ironically, we never said a single word to each other. I did, however, notice her as a chick that had the best set of legs I'd ever seen.

Our first conversation was after accidentally running into each other about 1 week after the summer camp. This resulted in our first date. "Hey! You're the girl from camp!" I was her first boyfriend. She was not my first girlfriend.

Our mothers have both survived breast cancer.

My wife is the third of three daughters.
I am the third of three sons. I should add to that the fact that my father is the third of three sons as well.

Our parents ended up in the exact same city, at the exact same time, working for the exact same organization.

My wife's 2 other sisters all married men who's parents are employed by the same organization.

Between my wife and I, her sisters and their husbands and my brothers and their wives...there have never been any divorces or separations. Seems strange to me. Glad that it's that way, but strangeness still associates in my head.

This bit does not include my wife. Myself and my two brothers, despite all having DIFFERENT and UNRELATED college degrees, have ALL ended up working in the exact same field with different employers in three different states. This is not capable of being boiled down to "family tradition," as neither my father, nor any family member before him, ever went into said field.

After dating in our teens and going our separate ways after a fairly bitter breakup, we accidentally ran into each other on a 20 thousand plus student college campus in our mid 20s. We got back together and were married a few months later.

We attempted pregnancy almost as soon as we got married and got smacked with twins. A boy and a girl. Boy looks identical to me. Girl looks identical to her. Obviously, genetics are genetics, but it is what it is.

We have found that both of us, almost universally, (when driving, maybe sitting and reading, doing "silent" activities) will be thinking the EXACT same obscure thought or thoughts if we ask what the other is thinking. This is true to such an extent that it actually creeps us out to a degree.

Very doubtful it is that I'll start throwing out dates of any specific events like marriages, births, or deaths. Not interested in having my identity stolen. There are other things, of course, but I either can't remember them as this "relationship" we have has become the norm and nothing seems odd anymore....or, they actually seem insignificant to me.

IT IS WHAT IT IS. Anyone actually have anything intelligent about the above text, because if you do, it'd be much appreciated??..

And, yes, am aware that my birthday adds up to 11.

So let's do this, folks. Tell me I'm going to rule the galaxy by the time I'm 35.
