Re: IT'S OFFICIAL: Today I was told I have successfully beaten pancreatic cancer
It is really something to beat pancreatic cancer. Make the most of your second chance at life. Never put any foul and cancer-causing substances into your body. Treat it like a religious artifact that only deserves the most pure and healthy of foods.

And good luck with going on with your life plans after you were probably only planning for death. Now it's like, oh crap! I have to live and actually do something?! Find something very good to do.

That is great !! Congratulations!
I just wish Patrick Swayze hadn't been so dang bull headed and did what the doctors told him to do..if he had he might still be alive today.
He felt that if you fed the body you fed the cancer so he cut back on eating, his body was too weak to fight the cancer and he died.

This AWESOME, Doomed!!

I'm sure you have cried, laughed, danced, sang and smiled your ass off while looking up and thanking God.

Now go live your life with purpose and prose as I have after I recieved my transplant 8 years ago.

Re: IT'S OFFICIAL: Today I was told I have successfully beaten pancreatic cancer
Suck on that Cancer, not taking me!

3% survival rate Ive been told but after a 4 year battle I finally won something that should have spread and killed me years back. I bet i'm the happiest person on earth right now, I knew before today I won the battle but to hear it confirmed is just the best. I know posting this is useless but I just need to tell everyone.

Bike ride 6 days a week and stay positive = best medicine. I don't want to go into details about my experience because I am still prone to panic attacks and bringing that up will trigger one but for anyone out there with Cancer trust me:

Get out there, suck in a ton of oxygen and wake up happy every day despite how you feel physically - allot of it is all in the head. You will win if you believe in yourself, never attach death to cancer because the moment you do it's already beating you. Surround youself with those you love and soak up all the good vibes, they got me through quite a few days.
Anyhow useless post but thought i'd share my overdose of happiness with everyone, too happy today, too happy.

EDIT: Chemo played its part, sorry for not adding this but I felt that it ruined the story somewhat. I'll go into that when I am a little more emotionally stable. It works, it's by no means perfect but I cannot sit here and tell people to ignore it.

Rest assured it was nothing the doctors did. It was likely a misdiagnosis to begin with. They told my aunt she had kidney cancer and removed one only to find out it was really just calcium buildup (severe kidney stone).

^That's why the death rate is so high the hospitals have the wrong approach and offer no cure which simply requires a change of diet.

One of my doctors even died from pancreatic cancer. He was a pakinstani in his 50s.
