All I saw was a reporter goofing off while the cameras were rolling, but off air. Looks like a satellite feed. It is precisely because it is fashionable for Americans to know no science, even though they may be well educated otherwise, that they so easily fall prey to nonsense. They thus become part of the armies of the night, the purveyors of nitwittery, the retailers of intellectual junk food, the feeders on mental cardboard, for their ignorance keeps them from distinguishing nectar from sewage. — Isaac Asimov |

Quoting: BoxerLvryou need to stop eating paint chips right now. if you can't see the deception we can't help you. Deception.... He was clearly not a duck, or a pig or any other animal that he tried to sound like. CNN was involved in deception... But not this guy. Just before the invasion, CNN was broadcasting stories about large numbers of amphibious boats, loaded with marines, waiting off shore and ready to start the assault. CNN reporters knew the truth, that there were few boats, and few marines on those boats, and agreed to play along. If you will recall, months before, the military conducted a mock invasion of a beach in Saudi Arabia. The military recorded that invasion... The underwater sounds and signals from the boats, that radio communications... Everything. Then, they played it back, to saddam, making it look like there was a real invading force just off the shores of Kuwait, He moved his forces to be ready.... And we came in from behind. Brilliant... And CNN helped, saving possibly thousands of lives on both sides. Now you know the rest of story. |
